Being a dinosaur I surprised meself. It worked. As it was a hot day and they aren't particularly common in these parts I did something I've never done before and I ordered iced coffee. It was a venti latte with carmel in it. When I went in it was just about ready too. It was very tasty with a lot of ice but tasted more like a dessert. I'm glad I tried the iced variety once. I'll stay a dinosaur and return to the safety of hot flat whites thanks very much with me reusable cup. Zero green stars for all the bloody plastic used even with the paper straws. While the app is useful to order it does almost fully remove any genuine interaction with the other humans serving you. Not my idea of our future. Oh well what do I know.

I want to dislike Starbucks. It's everything my head tells me to despise. A huge, world dominating,…read moremultimillion dollar corporation selling over priced coffee and putting small local independent cafes out of business. However here's the thing - Starbucks was once a small independent business too. They've expanded to a massive scale because they're just bloody excellent at what they do. All that excellency is on full display in this particular Starbucks cafe located in Boucher Crescent. Maybe I just visited on a really good day but it was a really great visit. My coffee, an Americano was delicious, full of flavour and smooth. Despite there being a plethora of coffee shops around these days it's actually depressingly difficult to get really good coffee. Starbucks deliver great tasting, high quality and consistently good coffee. Staff here are quick, polite and efficient. All the usual sandwiches and sweet treats are on display and are reliably good. This store looks recently refurbished and has a calm, serene vibe. It's large with free wifi and loads of charging points. Acoustics are great, even though it was busy the noise was a pleasant low hum. I noticed quite a few people sitting working peacefully on their laptops so obviously some people find it a great place to work or study. It's not cool to like Starbucks but I do. Normally I would 3 or 4 star them but this particular Starbucks cafe was excellent and deserves 5 stars. Credit where credit is due.

Visited the store to order a small pastry and a souvenir Belfast coffee mug. The employee that…read moreserved me was extremely rude. When I asked if they had other Belfast cups she said that wasn't her regular store. She then stepped away to do something else and I had to wait for her to help me. I had to repeat my request and she eventually charged me for the cup and pastry but went on to help others and didn't get the pastry for several minutes. When I reminded her she said "I am getting it!" She behaved similarly to my brother who was next in line.

I do like Starbucks mellow, smooth, rich coffee as it tastes naturally sweeter and less acidic and harsh on the palate than coffee served by some other cafes. Plus they always have fresh soya milk and a good range of sweet things, sandwiches and wraps. In particular I like to sit outside (weather permitting) as it's a great people watching spot and you can view all the antics occurring at the Kitchen Bar...

What isn't so good, and other coffee chains are similar here, is that while they have food on display from scones to pastries and tarts we cannot see a best before or sell by date. What's pretty bad is the absence of Colmans mustard. I can get Heinz tomato ketchup and HP sauce in Starbucks but no mustard. This is lousy. What's very bad in Starbucks and again other coffee chains are equally culpable is the lack of attention to cleaning up after customers have left. I'm pretty sick of looking at tables with dirty dishes and sticky dirty floors.

They have also started to offer Kenya coffee which is even sweeter (and nicer) than their regular coffee. Starbucks have a full range of drinks to include Refreshas, Yoghurt Frappuccino Blended Beverages, Espressos and Americanos. This Starbucks is often quite busy in the mornings with teenagers, students and business men/women so do expect to wait a few minutes for your coffee however the staff are always really friendly. Starbucks is definitely my favourite coffee shop!

It's Sunday morning so this caffeine hit is to ensure I don't waste the day, very important! The format of Starbucks is the same for all branches and all the hallmarks are here the only difference being location and staff. The location is not handy for parking, but the staff are really friendly. Let's just for a moment appreciate how difficult it can be to deal with people pre-morning coffee. Grouchy, dis-shelved people file in grunting their orders across the walnut counter top, and these noble baristas serve without prejudice. They do this with a genuine smile and warmth that can be hard to find these days.

As with every other one, we went in, joined the queue, hmmed and haaed over the menu before settling for our original choices. However this time it was different. You see, this routine is usually followed by ordering the drinks, recieving the drinks in exchange for the finest money the student loans company can provide, and then onto some inappropriate chat. Instead we remained in the queue, and waited. Then waited further. And further. And once more we were kept waiting. The staff were incredibly slow. Painfully slow we almost left and headed back towards the city. Eventually we were served and upon recieving our drinks and with a fake smile, we went on our quest to find an empty seat... Hmm... Haa... Almost every table had cups or mugs or plates on it. I ended up moving plates and mugs in order to forage a little table for us in the corner, away from this horrible experience. The place is nice and well situated, but the staff just need to hurry it up a little

I want to drink my coffee and relax in clean cosy surroundings and I'm darn well paying for it. Even in student days we at least kept the floors clean and we were tenants. Management must know their places are filthy dirty, so enough already: if ya can't keep it clean then discount prices by half or better still just let public health inspectors in the door. This place, like other Starbucks, Costas and Cafe Nero places I go to had stinking dirty floors, badly stained chairs and stained tables. I ordered a venti cappuccino here with an extra shot and sat at a dirty table with my feet on a dirty floor. It was 15 to 20 minutes before a staffer showed up with a plastic dish and cloth to clean the table and take away the detritus from a previous customer, so not only was the table unclean when I got to it, I could see it wasn't cleaned in the 10 minutes I stood in the queue either. While I was standing in the queue I scanned around and every empty table was littered. I sat in one by a front window with only one dirty plate. So when the guy arrived and took the plate he wiped crumbs onto the floor, he did catch most of them in his hand but not all. So he contributed more waste food to the already filthy floor - seems the floor is someone else's cleaning problem. I've no idea how often or how well the floors are cleaned here but it must be few and far between. Oh the near £4 coffee was fine but sometimes that alone just ain't good enough.

The food is great (see my tip in the cream cheese bagel!), the coffee is even better and there's a good selection of other drinks including Suki-tea if you'd rather. Its young, fresh funky and does great coffee! For those with a sweet tooth, the cakes are big, homemeade and delicious and to cancel them out the smoothies and juices are perfec for that rare summers day in Belfast. The coffee house has ample seating both inside and out and does seem to possess that American Charm. A great wee place a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of Vic Square na da cheaper welcomed change from the usual haunts..ie. Starbucks. Great food, great coffe and a great location! Good to see a Starbucks in a street consisting mainly of office blocks. This one is housed on the…read moreground floor of one such office block, namely Harvester House, at the corner of Franklin Street. It has just opened today and is not even listed yet on the Starbucks website so I cannot add a phone number. Harvester House is at 4-8 Adelaide Street and as this new Starbucks is at the end of the building furthest from Donegall Square, I have counted no 8 Adelaide Street as the address. I ordered a cold brew with almond milk, which was quite refreshing, along with a dark chocolate and hazelnut bar and some smoked almonds. I look forward to quite a few return visits here.

Had a pretty torrid experience for the first time in here. One server was lovely. The other, a…read moretrainee was slow, belligerent and not at all helpful. Was notable to accommodate even the slightest change to a milkshake for the people ahead, was slow and clueless about a question asked by a lady in the queue, this would have been ok if it was not all presented with the attitude that customers being there were really ruining his day.
