Hiring Blessed Events Weddings turned out to be one of our biggest regrets. What should have been a smooth, joyful wedding day became stressful and disorganized because of this coordinator and her team. The morning of our wedding, she texted my wife saying she would be FOUR hours late. Being late isn't automatically a deal-breaker life happens but there was absolutely no Plan B, no backup support, and no solution offered for a situation that serious. We were simply left without a coordinator during the most critical hours of the day. When she finally arrived, instead of taking responsibility or stepping in with urgency, she seemed confused and unprepared. We handed her the itinerary and seating chart, yet she still appeared unsure of what to do. On top of that, she actually complained about helping with centerpieces, which was unbelievable considering she had left us on our own for hours. Her assistants were no help either. They were clueless, provided almost no support, and left after just three hours even though they were supposed to stay the entire event. Their presence added nothing. What made everything worse was her rudeness toward our catering and appetizer vendors. Her attitude created tension and confusion, and we ended up apologizing to the vendors afterward something no couple should have to do on their wedding day. Complaining, being rude, and creating conflict does not make up for being hours late. It only made the situation more stressful. She insists on full payment upfront, and looking back, it feels like we paid for promises that were never delivered. Our wedding turned out beautiful because of our families and our other vendors not because of her or her team. They brought stress, frustration, and disorganization when we needed professionalism and support the most. I strongly warn future couples to think twice before booking this coordinator. Kathryn was easy to work with and responsive. Prior to the wedding, she gave us ideas of different traditional elements to include in our ceremony and reception and answered all of our questions. She created an easy-to-follow timeline and worked hard to help everyone understand where to be when during the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. She and her team (Savannah and Madison) were very helpful in taking down the décor after the ceremony and ensuring our card box and decorations got safely to our hotel room afterwards. My sister had her wedding this weekend. The coordinator and assistants really let her down. I know no wedding is perfect. Mistakes and mishaps are bound to happen but they really dropped the ball.. I'm just gonna go straight to the mishaps. The event took place at the newlyweds residence. 1. Guests were waiting outside to be let in to the cocktail area 2. The sandwiches for the cocktail were not brought out. The wedding party had to bring them out for the guests. 3. QR code cards were not placed on the tables for guests to utilize for sharing pics with the bride and groom. 4. Pastries were not set up by the cake as instructed to do so. 5. Glow sticks for the guests were never brought out as instructed to do. The list goes on and on. My self and a another bridesmaid had to do what the coordinators were hired to do. This was supposed to be a stress free day for the happy couple. Not have to be wondering why the event was not going accordingly. Also.. for the dinner. It was being catered. Bufete style. The Coordinators were supposed to announce by table when it was their turn to go get their food. I'm very dissatisfied with their service. I wouldn't recommend them. read more

I know people make mistakes, but I feel many large balls were dropped by this coordinator and I would not recommend her. She missed our last meeting with the venue coordinator even though both my daughter and I gave her the date and time. She was 40 minutes late to our rehearsal the day before the wedding. Despite the fact that my daughter was extremely organized and had given very detailed instructions, AND included those instructions in every box, the following happened the day of the wedding: The battery-operated candles at the ceremony site did not get turned on. I was mortified! My daughter who was the Matron of Honor, organized the welcome table (Kathryn claims the venue told her she couldnt do anything until 5...wedding starts at 5:15!) My daughter centered and polished the lighted sign behind the sweetheart table, she hung the signs on the chairs at the sweetheart table, she got the groomsmen down to get lined up 8 minutes before the start of the wedding and Kathryn was surprised to see them there! She had been MIA because she was off getting herself ready. My friend, Lauren, helped me arrange the vintage seating area very early on. Thus easily could have been done by Kathryn and her helpers but they were just sitting on theor phones in the ballroom. My friend put out the reserved signs on the guest chairs. Her husband put the confetti envelopes on the guest chairs. All things that could, and should, have been done by the coordinator before 5. Whenever anyone had questions, I would direct them to Kathryn because she was our Coordinator, however, it would always come back to "we can't find her" and I would have to direct them to Lauren. At one point, Lauren found Kathryn resting in her car! At this point Kathryn said she couldn't do anything until 4:30!  There was so much that needed to be done prior to 4:30!...like lighting the battery-operated candles, for example! (I'm still so embarrassed and disappointed about that!).  Finally, Kathryn came to my friend and said, "Well, I can see you have everything under control, so I'm going to get dressed." She also charged me $25 to pick up food for the groomsmen even though, when I hired her, she had said you would be doing any last-minute running around for us the WEEK of the wedding. We couldn't even get hold of her the first part of the week and the only time we saw her that week was at rehearsal and the wedding. Her website says she also clean uo the decor but she did not. DO NOT BOOK! You get what you paid for. I made the mistake by wanting to save money on a wedding coordinator and in return, we received the poorest quality of service. First off, we noticed that Kathryn the business owner looked visibly sick when we saw her in person for the first time at our final walk through at the venue. There is nothing wrong with a visibly sick person but a wedding coordinator entails a lot of physical demands and mental stress. We were extremely concerned for her well-being and unhappy with her lack of transparency of her current state. However, we wanted to support Kathryn's business so regardless of our doubts, we followed through with our contract. The morning of our wedding. I repeat, the morning of my wedding. While I am getting my makeup done, Kathryn discloses to me that she isn't feeling well so her "experienced team members" will instead come in and coordinate our wedding. I was sympathetic and instructed Kathryn to share with them the binder that I created with instructions, inspo photos, break down items to pack, plus more! It was detailed and descriptive because I wanted to make sure everything went smoothly. The two team members arrive and they're calling me while I'm getting my hair done to ask questions on how to turn on the audio guestbook, where does the seating chart go, and candle placements. The answers to all of this was in the binder. Ceremony time. My dad and I are waiting in the bridal suite and no one comes to get us. There's no warning or signal to walk towards the ceremony location so we wait. After realizing no one is coming to get us, I frantically call my brother to coordinate with him. Just imagine this - the bride is calling her brother who's sitting at the ceremony and he's instructing her when to come after he sees that most of the guests have taken their seats. It gets worse. My dad and I finally make our way and we're about to make my entrance, and I see the two coordinators leaning against the wall far from us. I instruct them to come over to help with my dress train and veil before I make my entrance. This is not experienced professionals. We successfully finish our ceremony and as we're about to make our exit, the coordinators are no where to be seen again so my dad fixes my train and veil in front of all of our guests. At this point I'm furious and have given up on all expectations which was inevitable since there were zero effort from the coordinators for the remainder of the night. I let them hear my opinion at the end since my husband was gracious enough to still tip them when I didn't feel like it was deserving. The next morning of our wedding. We noticed my husband's duffel bag was missing (they had it and didn't tell us until I reached out first), a significant amount of boxes that contained decorative items, and the audio guestbook. In addition, the venue was contacting us that some items were left behind. After speaking with Kathryn, she and her team members tried to point blame on my husband that he instructed them to leave everything behind. No - again, inexperienced people. We generously gave them all of our expensive candles but we did not instruct them to take everything else. The break down of items to pack was descriptively listed in the binder. I made sure to inform Kathryn how disappointed we were in this experience and the unsatisfactory service. Fast forward to present. Our wedding was in September this year. Our photographer just contacted me that Kathryn requested a link to our wedding photos. Our photographer knew how unsatisfied we were with their service and saw it firsthand how everything played out so she wanted to confirm with me first. The audacity to sneak around us to falsely advertise our wedding photos is mind boggling! I am absolutely NOT comfortable with sharing our photos nor want to be affiliated with their "wedding service". I am writing this to forewarn all the future brides and to prevent them from making the same mistake as me. Do not book! She has been great officiant and extremely knowledgeable. I cannot express how much of a help she has been with my wedding process. I had to plan a quick ceremony recently with my family and she made sure all COVID regulations was followed. The photos she took were amazing! I felt at ease having her as my officiant and photographer. She really makes the efforts to make the ceremony special and unique as the couple.
