The presentation that had been planned was ruined, when the flowers were delivered to the person we were trying to surprise, hours before anyone even knew if she would be successful at the milestone that we hoped to celebrate. Multiple times I contacted Smith's to ask whether they could offer me a partial refund, in acknowledgement of their mistake. The owner did not respond, despite having my contact information. When I did finally got her on the phone, she was defensive and took no responsibility for what had happened. I would be very hesitant to entrust her with an important family event, like a wedding or funeral.

My dozen dipped strawberries were all spoiled, discolored and smelled like mold and dirt. I opened each strawberry hoping one would be fresh. No such luck. I gifted a dozen dipped mixed fruit box to friends and it has turned into a complete embarrassment. Rotten fruit barely covered in chocolate is a disaster. The photos below where sent to me by my granddaughter. She was upset at the appearance of the strawberries. Wrote the corporate office, and they sent the complaint to the Williamsburg store. They did cancel the order, but they offered no apology nor any other kind of comment. I hear that Harris Teeter offers something similar and cheaper. Will never frequent this establishment again.

Very confusing, how could you make a fruit basket and deliver it in 10 minutes? As I tried to get my refund, I was hung up on but eventually got connected to someone. I was given 50% refund and an upgrade on my delivery. The delivered fruit basket was very small and hardly any fruit. I was very shocked when seeing this basket and honestly hurt. It just was not what I expected for the price I paid.
