We utilized them for a loved one's celebration of life. Roxanne was knowledgeable and helpful to me in choosing an appropriate arrangement. They were already aware of the death and the funeral arrangements. It's just nice to have a florist that's aware of local obituaries and can connect all the dots so you don't have to spend forever spelling it all out for them. Just moved to Williamsburg and wanted to find a local florist. Found Morrison's and went on their website and placed my order for a "Deluxe" Thanksgiving bouquet. (I believe there is standard, deluxe and a level up from deluxe) Received as scheduled on delivery date requested. The bouquet itself is lovely, but it doesn't seem very full / deluxe. seems like a standard arrangement. I called the florist and they said they built it to the order specs and that sometimes telefloral pics appear larger than they really are. I have no idea what that means as I didn't go through telefloral and went directly through their local website and I was fine with it not being larger, but expected it to be more full. Morrison's did the flowers for my wedding and reception on 5/28/16- the peonies were perfect and affordable. Very fresh, bright flowers- the colors were vibrant, the smell was light and fresh- not overpowering, so they deal with a very good floral dealer. Delivery to the church and venue was on time, and seamless. I even threw them a curveball as I had underestimated the reception flowers and added an usher! An issue? Nope! They made it happen! The reception flowers were lovely- peonies with lime slices. Better than I imagined! I live in DC- so having this done so well and easily from over 150 miles away was a relief! I also use Morrison's for my local flower deliveries in Hampton Roads- Birthdays, get well, Valentine's Day, and Mother's Day! Never had a problem with getting the order done. And any issues? Flowers were nice but waaaaaaay over priced. Pollards in Newport News has the same quality product for half the price.

My husband has gotten me flowers from here countless times, so when it came to getting him some Father's Day flowers, I decided to check it out. I went in and told them what I wanted (orange and yellow flowers; masculine) and that I would be by the next day to pick them up. When I went back to get them, they come out with an arrangement of white, pink, and hot pink flowers (not what I had ordered). They immediately realized their mistake and told me they could re-do it, but at that rate it had already been a day and they couldn't get it together, so what was the point. I told them to forget it and left. They don't deserve my money. When I told my husband the story (after I brought home a beautiful arrangement by Seasons of Williamsburg from right across the street), he told me that he had always gone online (maybe Teleflora) and picked out the arrangement first and just had Morrison's fulfill the order. So lesson learned. Don't waste your time calling or visiting them and expecting anything like what you want. Go online, pick a picture, and click submit. Ugh. read more
