We were very confused about the pricing because things are like $1.01 and $2.02 and $4.84. weird prices. not sure if there was a reason for that but it isn't clear in the store. something about rounding up, but again not clear! It's not the greatest there is but apparently they haven't been in this location very long. The people are nice and what they have isn't too bad. I can't say a whole lot for some of the customers there. The staff does sincerely seem to be trying do a good job as far as running the thrift store. It supports a good cause and deserves your patronage. read more

A HUGE place, it goes all the way back. Prices are written on the items in grease pencil, in weird amounts. My wife bought a double matted, local photograph for $2.81. . Some shelves were empty, others were ready to burst. Lots of old furniture and accessibile restrooms. The who place has a musty old smell but the cashier was friendly. It's a shame they're so disorganized. read more

I just returned from attempting to get a store credit for a mistake that was made by one of their employees of allowing only a 50 cent credit on my last purchase instead of the 50% off total they promote to take place on a weekly basis. Wasn't looking for a refund or exchange, just a store credit to be applied to purchasing *more* from their store. Nope, since I hadn't pointed out THEIR mistake within seven days, they refused to own up to their mistake. Personally, I would prefer to shop at place that doesn't have an expiration date on their integrity. read more

Its a large thrift store. So much to look at and shop. Lots of furniture, bikes, workout equipment, books, clothes. Sports equipment, shoes. They appear to have many events that go on through the month and sales. Probably my favor thrift store in town. read more

The New Image Thrift Store is amazing!! Always new products flowing from the warehouse, and tons of items on the shelves. The way the clothes are arranged makes it much easier to shop, and the quality of the clothes are always good too. I love the staff at this store as well, they are always helpful and take time to meet and learn about all their customers. Compared to other thrift stores, they are the best. Much more organized and clean. The location on N Kansas Expressway is so much better than the previous location, and it has improved every time I have shopped there. Wouldn't go anywhere else to spend my money. If you follow them on Twitter or Facebook they post all of their Daily Sales every morning, and post pictures of new Items regularly. In a nut shell; Clean Organized, Friendly Staff, Amazing prices and Sales. P.S. All sales stay with the Missouri Council of the Blind, that's 100%. I want to give this store more stars due to the charitable mission, but I just can't. My husband says I am in love with Missouri Council of the Blind thrift store (aka New Image Thrift Store) because I always want to stop in, but honestly 80% of the time I don't find a single thing I want. It is the other 20% when I find a great book for 67 cents or $2 top, or better yet the cute boots in great condition for $3.99 and then it turns out to be a half-off sale so I pay $2...those times make this place worth the stop! They take credit and debit cards which from the look of this place (somewhat rough) I would not have expected. Their furniture selection is not so good and the housewares tend toward the filthy or overpriced. It is definitely not for the faint of heart but more for serious junk hunters who don't mind digging in. read more

This is one of the better thrift stores in Springfield Mo. We went to quite a few when we had some time to kill and were very disappointed in most of them. The Goodwill and Salvation Army were very overpriced. Some of the others were junky. This one had a decent selection and some of the prices were in line with items being donated. They could stand to have the books move through faster with lower prices. Overall, best thrift in Springfield. read more

This place has really gone to hell lately the older taller woman at the front is ALWAYS on her phone when I come in even if the line is backed up she doesn't care who is waiting she will finish whatever she is doing on her phone BEFORE she helps the customer and it seems like every Saturday that I go in there are multiple kids running around and wrestling all through the store and in the back where they sort things they are incredibly reckless and they play in the wheelchairs so ACTUAL paying customers can't use them and on top of all of that it's like the store just completely stopped caring about what they put out I bought a pair of long shorts and when I got home I realized they were tore from top to bottom on the inside of the thigh smh most of their clothing is stained or torn up now days it's so sad to watch this store completely fall apart but hopefully they will open a better store in it's place when thy finally close this horrible thrift store down!! read more

I have found lots of good things at this thrift store. But there pricing system is complicated and confusing. In the toy area the stuffed animal pit is dirty and ripped and I would be scared to dig through it. Last time I was there there was a breakable china doll in the pit. But the prices are not that high and every first Saturday of a month everything is half off . You probably at least fined one thing you liked. read more

I am an older white lady so I love finding low priced thrift stores but I didn't find it here. This place is ridiculously over-priced and the service is horrible. They had one guy that would help me and he had dreadlocks. He was very kind and very helpful. I stopped seeing him working there and every since, the service has been horrible for me.... just my opinion. read more
