I've been wanting to try eyelash extensions for a while now. I have little blonde eyelashes that are barely noticeable unless i wear loads of mascara or fake lashes. I know someone who's tried Blink in the past and recommended them. When I found a living social deal for $59 to get the full set of lashes, I couldn't resist. I called to book an appointment, and it was a bit tricky since they close early on weekdays and I work. I was able to make a Saturday appointment just in time for the holidays. The staff was very helpful in providing instructions on how to prepare your eyes the day of the appointment. They have a strict cancellation policy so make sure you book a time you know you'll attend. The process itself takes an hour, so you have to be comfortable with keeping your eyes closed the entire time. It wasn't painful or uncomfortable. Though the girl working on me was very nice, I didn't like that she couldn't get the collagen pads on my lower lashes correctly so had to tape my lashes down. It really hurt when she pulled off the tape over that very sensitive skin. It felt very sensitive the rest of the day. The lashes look amazing though! Very long, luscious, and natural. Unfortunately, I don't think i'll make this a regular beauty routine because it is crazy expensive. The full set is $150 without the living social deal, refills are $55, and they only last about 2 weeks. I wish I could, but really can't. read more

I went in today for the full eye makeover (lash extension and brow shaping) using my Groupon. Contrary to previous reviews, they were quick to answer the phone and make appointments, and they were incredibly friendly over the phone. When I went in for my appointment, I hardly had to wait at all. The woman who did my lash extensions was really nice and clearly explained what was going on since I was a lash extension newbie. She very gentle with my eyes, and the whole thing took about an hour. I loved the results!! My eyelashes looked completely natural, just a million times better! Next, I got my brows done. They were great, and she not only explained how she was doing them but also how I can fill in my brows on my own (I guess I am kinda clueless). BTW, this place is family owned (mom at the front desk, 2 daughters doing the eyes, and the daughter's husband working on the business stuff), and I loved the fact that I was supporting a very nice local family. I also bought the eye makeover groupon. I will say that at first it was very difficult scheduling an appointment because their hours of operation are limited for the typical working woman. However, I went in this past Saturday and I have to say I left happy. The location is right smack in the middle of South Miami and their suite was very clean and modern. I felt very comfortable there. First I did the lashes - the lady was super nice and explained every step. She was very gentle and I never experienced any discomfort. When I saw the finished product I was ecstatic. She did mention that they sold about 400 groupons and had been very busy. Then I went to do my brows which was with a different employee (i forgot names :-/) She tweezed them and I have to say it was the best brow shape I have ever received. I've tried many places but I'm never really impressed but this girl has skill! I have thin brows so its hard to shape them without making them horribly thin. She was able to do it successfully. Overall, I had a great experience and loved the final product. The only downfalls in my opinion is the limited hours of operation and they are pretty pricey. But then again, you get what you pay for. read more

The staff were friendly and professional, but the eyelash extension services are insanely expensive, and only worth if if you have a deal. The groupon deal I purchased was for the "Blink Signature" service which is described as the "most natural lash, a mascara look all day & night", but the service did not meet my expectations. Yes, the extensions are noticeable, BUT my lashes look longer and fuller with two coats of L'orel mascara. I was instructed that the lash extensions would fall out like natural lashes, which was somewhat accurate. Some lashes fell out super quick, and others lasted for over two weeks, which made for an uneven lashline. Last gripe is that they have very limited, and close by either 4 or 5 pm during the week, which means that Saturday appointments book up quickly. I would never pay full price for the services, but would consider going back if there was a really good deal. read more

I originally bought a groupon for the eye makeover/blink signature service, several months ago, for a wedding. I've been going back ever since. The location is convenient, everyone there is super friendly (shoutout to Stephanie!), and i'm happy every time I leave. Granted, paying for eyelash extensions is a luxury, and it's not something I would do all the time. However, for me, I find that this service is so worthwhile and convenient. I've spent so much money on mascara that never truly does what it says (ultimately, bc I have lots of short, light lashes). This service is a great work around, that does not irritate my very sensitive skin (had to switch mascara almost monthly due to rash/irritation/peeling of my eyelids and allergies to my actual eyes). I hardly ever wear eye makeup anymore, just some concealer - one and done. I've looked around at other places, for pricing, just out of curiosity, and with the quality of product/service, this place is where it's at. If you want a great look for a special occasion, this is a great place to go. And if you find yourself addicted, it'll be hard to find better. The only real downside is their hours. So difficult to find time, especially as a Mon through Fri worker. They usually close at about 4pm, they're closed Sun and Mon, and Sat gets full very quickly. I always make an appt about 1-2 weeks in advance, and I'm solid. If they had long hours during the week, even only until 6pm, I'd bump up that extra star. read more

I already had lash extensions and Stephanie did a great job removing them and replacing them with Mink and Silk mix. Stephanie also did a fantastic job with my eyebrows. I got my lashes filled and it looked like they were not even done. My friend got a full set and I must say it was the worst lashes I ever seen. Clumpy thick way too long. We both had to get them fixed elsewhere. All I have to say is quality does not come cheap and this place might have some deals but I ended up paying double to get them fixed. read more

4/9/15 This business does not deserve to be given even 1 star. I made the unfortunate decision of purchasing the living social special for a full set of lash extensions at Blink which I planned to redeem immediately. Sadly, my father passed away shortly thereafter so I honestly put everything in the back burner for some months. Once things started getting back to normal, I found the voucher and immediately called to make an appointment but I was told that it was expired. Fortunately, the voucher clearly stated that the PAID VALUE DOES NOT EXPIRE so I made an appointment even though I was told that I would now have to pay an additional $90 at the appointment, which is basically paying FULL PRICE for the lashes. I made the appointment anyway because I did not want the money paid for the voucher to go to waste, but from the very beginning the lady running their appointment book and phone system acted as if she was doing me a favor the entire time, had a very snobby attitude and made it nearly impossible to book an appointment as they do not have business hours that are realistic for women who work. How much do we love being a paying customer and calling a business establishment to get this type of treatment right? They close very early during the week and you'll never be able to get a Saturday appointment unless you book it way in advance. I made a weekday appointment but then realized that there was no way I could leave work so early. I called a few days prior to the appointment to cancel and ask for a Saturday appointment but, of course, they were all booked Saturday and I was told I'd get a call if anyone cancelled. After never getting a call back, I called to make another appointment and to my surprise, the appointment I cancelled was marked as a "NO SHOW" and I was told that they could no longer honor my living social voucher and that this was simply their "policy" and they could not do anything for me. In other words, I gave them $70 for absolutely no reason. I asked: "is this the way you reel in new clients?" and I got complete disinterest on the other end of the line. So disappointing...... PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. THEY HAVE A VERY POOR BUSINESS ETHIC TO SAY THE VERY LEAST. THEY STAYED WITH MY MONEY WITHOUT ME EVER STEPPING A FOOT INSIDE THEIR SALON AND COULD NOT CARE LESS ABOUTHAVING DONE SO. BAD BUSINESS IS BAD BUSINESS LADIES!!! read more

Pretty annoyed that I bought a Groupon for this company ($36 Complete Eye Makeover including a Full set of Silk Eyelashes and an Eyebrow wax) and can't even use it when I want to. The day that Groupon posted this deal, I called Blink to make an appointment (several times actually), and left a message for them to call me back.....they didn't. So I called the next day, and emphasized that I left a message with my desired appointment days and needed a call back to confirm....they didn't. So boys and girls, guess what I did??? I called the NEXT day and surprisingly I got someone on the phone. I told the lady I'd been calling for days and left messages and she had the nerve to get defensive and say that she had been monitoring the phones and calling customers back to schedule them on a first come first served basis. Lies...because if she did, I wouldn't have called on the THIRD day and I wouldn't be on Yelp! giving them a piss-poor review. I bought the coupon because I wanted to get my lashes done for NYE. Unfortunately, they were soooo busy answering the phones and scheduling appointments that they were booked until January! Just my luck. So now I'm stuck with this stupid coupon and I have no intentions of getting my lashes done in January for any occasion at all. Way to wow customers before you even get them in your door. Customer service is key. and when you signed up for Groupon you should have armed yourself with a defense tactic on handling a massive amount of calls. Started off very satisfied with Blink. The girls are very knowledgeable and the ambiance is nice and serene. I have had to reschedule several times this summer due to unexpected life circumstances, ect. Not only was I greeted in a rudely fashion by receptionist in front desk I was told to pay a late or a cancellation. Charge of which I have no trouble paying. I am very considerate of others work and time ;with that in mind I no longer find the need to subject myself to be treated as a child with such poor mannerisms, especially when cancellations are done on time and let's face it..., without the Loyal patrons, there would not be business. I have about six relatives that currently go for eyelash extensions at your facility and as family I feel obliged to be honest and tell them how I was treated...,especially when all excuses were valid. Bottom line, do you prefer loyal customers who are satisfied with their services and refer word of mouth or is there such little empathy than I had proof of two police reports for car accidents and treated so fouly. Much has to be said of this facility.we are posting on yelp and going to another eyelash extension company. Luckily there are a dime a dozen. Maybe in between breaks we can teach etiquette class to lady answering cell. NEVER stepping foot there again much less referring. Lesson learned. Will let all my Cosculluela cousins know of this treatment and will make sure client I referred this week Jill goes to a place where patrons are treated with respect.... Overall it was a good experience and A little pricey. I probably won't be a regular bec it is every two weeks to keep up with the lashes. Yani applied my lashes and was very good and very informative. What I did not like was the girl that did not have a client was sitting next to us looking on her iPad and kept telling Yani to "look" at what she found. It was most annoying and unprofessional! Went here because a friend recommended it. I called to schedule an appointment but they were booked throughout the holiday. They took my name and said they'd call if they had any cancellations. The next day, they called me and scheduled me for the last appointment. This was my first time so I wasn't sure what to expect. Place is very clean and nicely located in South Miami. Parking garage is steps from the establishment. The procedure was very relaxing and I am very happy with the results. It's only been a day so I don't know what they will look like or feel like in 2 weeks but so far so good. They were not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive. Honestly, I wouldn't trust a local hair salon that charges $20.00 because this needs to be done by trained specialist or you can have some serious issues with your lashes. They only do eye lashes so it's good to know this is what they do all day long. I had a nice experience and would certainly recommend them to someone who is looking for a good place for lashes and a good price. Definitely coming back. read more
