I had no idea Stacie was here, located in a space called the Beauty Box New York, which houses several beauty and wellness businesses. The space is newly renovated and decorated very nicely! Definitely a cool and fun place to come and relax while splurging on yourself a little! I had always been curious about semi permanent makeup but didn't know if I was brave enough and was scared of poor results. When I saw my friend share her photo post powder brow treatment I decided it was time to give it a try. Powder brows aren't as heavy as a traditional tattoo and offer a much more natural, yet made up looking effect. I have patchy brows and my oily skin doesn't let me apply makeup the way I want, especially on the brow tails. I spent so much time working on them everyday for them to just rub off. I reached out for some info and was pleasantly surprised to hear back from Stacie very quickly. Stacie is both owner of the Beauty Box and Brows by Stacie. Stacie was very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. I felt very comfortable once we spoke and she didn't pressure me or rush me through my inquiries. I made an appointment and she went through all the pre procedure tips. The procedure itself wasn't too painful. It took about 2 hours and the tattoo portion was very short. Stacie looks at how you usually do your makeup and will map out your brows first. You get to check them and make adjustments as needed then comes the tattoo part. There was some peeling for 2 weeks which she warned me about it in my opinion was well worth it. Stacie was very professional and took her time. I am thrilled with my results. She carefully explained the after care and what to expect. My brows are gorgeous and I don't have to do much in the morning. They healed perfectly and I wake up with a natural looking brow. I am not sure why I didn't come sooner, this is a life changing service. The first appointment comes with a touch up appointment a few weeks later. I highly recommend her for powder brows and also lash lift.

Bree is kind and professional and I could not have had a better experience. She is friendly and conversational and, like any girl's girl worth her salt would do, reminded me that women are not all what we see on tv and that there would be no need to worry. What a relief - you are self-conscious to begin with and that left immediately with her down-to-earth professionalism and friendliness. I was hoping this wax would not be painful compared to sugaring, which is what I was used to. To anyone with concerns- whether it was Bree's skill or the product she used, it felt no different than sugaring and was not anything more than a small discomfort that immediately passed as you would expect from any service like this. I had not one concern or area in need of extra attention, and at my first appointment I received a small goody bag of after-care products. Her prices are very reasonable and her skill is excellent. She has appointments throughout the day, making scheduling around work a breeze & she is located within a salon. Her room is bright, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. I've gotten lash lifts and services in the past at other places that did a great job but this is by far the best my lashes have ever looked. The lash lift gave me a perfect curl that has lasted through many workouts, sports games, showers, and more. The tint has allowed me to go mascara free for the past week. However, I'm sitting here at 1am still without a response even though her messages were confirmed to go through. I ended up refunding the Groupon. It's a true bummer because all her Groupon and yelp reviews are stellar. Update: I did get a text back Michelle this morning to schedule services, she didn't want to respond to my texts late at night (understandable). It seemed like a one off hectic day for her, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. She has wonderful feedback otherwise. I would come back to her for services because she is very meticulous with her work and I'd rather support small business than the big chains anyways. She was kind and did try to keep my mind off of the work. Her salon is located in Sola Salons, #14. I just walked around till I found her room, wasn't too hard.

We usually book our appointments on Saturday afternoons and this is the third time that we have noticed the other stylist leave with a full room of customer's waiting to get their haircut. I believe her name is Amber, and would not recommend going there after 3pm if you don't want to wait. Haley is wonderful and for that, 5 stars! We will always come back. Maybe this is something management should take a look at, as people often leave when they see one person and the wait. It is very unprofessional.

I left with dingy, dirty hair color despite their efforts to fix my hair. I was there from 9:39 till almost three. When I left, I wanted to cry. I hate my hair, and I obviously realized, they just don't have the capacity for good coloring. If you want great color do not go there. I hate my hair and it's texture. I feel sick!!
