Instead of a refreshed balayage, my hair now looks completely different--darker, dull, and way overly brassy. This is not what I asked for, and it has ruined the dimensional color I had. I look sickly with this orange hair and the only option I have is either to bleach my hair again and damage it or darken it to a dark brown with no dimension. Either way I'll be waiting months to a year to start over and get the look I've been working towards. With this, they are not apologetic and don't take accountability. Don't go here!!

Even though this location is super far from my place, it is conveniently located next to Chester station. I went up to the second floor and was greeted by the friendliest assistant I had even encountered. She brought me tea and showed me to my seat. Mandye (the hair dresser) went over colour options with me and suggested a couple different things she thought would work well. Their selection of trashy tabloid magazines was impressive and faster than I could say "what other ho did Jesse James sleep with?!" I was done and ready for my bang trim. In the end the service was good, my colour is great and as a bonus there is an AMAZING shoe shop (Balisi) a few doors down.

I went in with beautiful, cool blonde hair and left with an absolute disaster, thanks to the so-called "Houdini of hair" herself, Violet Volovik, who also happens to be the owner. I had booked a simple wash and blowout appointment a week in advance. Instead of following my request to use a purple shampoo, Violet used permanent purple dye on my hair. When I confronted her about this catastrophe, she refused to fix it and avoided telling me what products were used. After much disputing and imploring, she finally admitted to using a particular product on my hair. However, it was clear she deliberately ruined my hair, transforming it into a horrendous warm, brassy color. After many disputes, they applied a color remover that only lightened the purple slightly, making my hair look even more hideous. The color remover caused my hair to bleed, turning it warm and brassy. I had spent thousands to achieve my cool blonde look, only to have it destroyed in one appointment. I spent $800 and lost length just to make it somewhat good and cool again. It took months to repair the damage, and I couldn't stop crying. The owners didn't care whatsoever. The audacity and unprofessionalism at Bob + Paige Salon are beyond belief. They don't just ruin your hair; they do it with malice. Violet added chemicals and products to my hair without my consent or knowledge, damaging it beyond repair. I left with purple, warm brown, brassy hair and was absolutely horrified. The ownership is so unprofessional that Violet constantly berated her staff, who were equally unprofessional and unethical. They also asked me a lot of intrusive and condescending questions. For visual reference, the picture with the green sign is my hair before, and the picture with the red sign is my hair after Violet's disastrous interference. It was so ugly and damaged after she added the remover and things I didn't consent to or was informed of. I can't believe people trust them. Avoid this place at all costs if you value your hair and your sanity. This was truly the worst experience of my life.
