When I need roadside assistance, I call a tow company and afterwards email StateFarm the bill and they're quick to mail out the reimbursement. They'll email policy/coverage cards quickly if lost or needed for any reason. Friendly and polite on the phone. Love the app for paying bills and checking (and even changing!) coverage. When I decided to close my account they billed me for an additional month. I thought it was an honest mistake and asked for a refund. After two months of phone calls they're claiming that they always provided the insurance up front and I paid after the fact. Seriously? Do you know of any insurance company that doesn't charge in advance? See if they'll give you the same deal. My advice is tell your bank to block their charges when you close your account.
