Only a few people in the bar and our group sat in the back. Can't really speak to the friendliness of the bar since we kept to ourselves and the few others at the bar did the same. You will get propositioned multiple times within seconds of meeting someone. In some bars you will see things that just wouldn't happen at other bars. Drinks will be very cheap, but the environment might not be what you're looking for. I can check "gay bars in Berlin" off my list, but I don't think I'll be back. At Tabasco specifically, the two of us were surrounded by a group of six guys, harassed until we felt the need to leave. One of the guys followed us out of the bar, and we walked quickly to lose his trail. Definitely not what we imagined with nightlife, but hey, new experiences.
