I gave her the contact info and she called and was first told that representing her might be an issue because she was not in their county... she was in the adjoining one. Why this would/might be an issue I have no idea. However, someone was going to call her back and let her know. That didn't happen. Second day she called again and it was a repeat of the day before. Again... no return phone call. Today I called at 10am and spoke to someone and voiced (nicely) my concern over the promise of a return call the previous two days that never came. I also questioned what was the issue with my wife's daughter living one county over. She said she did not know and put me on hold. She came back a minute later and told me that Mr. Self was on a Zoom call and would call me back when it ended. She even mentioned that she said it was urgent. It is now 10 minutes until closing time. Nearly seven hours later and no response. for the third day in a row. I'm a big believer in the three strikes rule. If first impressions truly are everything, then this was a complete failure. We couldn't even find out if they would represent my wife's daughter, let alone set up a consultation. This was a simple yes or no question that Mr Self could have answered in a text. I wouldn't hire him to mediate ownership of a pack of gum. Lets hope the next family attorney I find actually believes all the wonderful things they write about themselves.

Their billing process is a complete joke, nontransparent. you are billed weekly without disclosure of who is getting paid what. In just one year, my case was passed around to SIX different attorneys. This constant turnover is not only unprofessional, it is a gross mismanagaement of a client's time and money. This firm has wiped out entire families retirement accounts, home equity and destroyed generational wealth for profit. Their collections practices are aggressive and unforgiving regardless of the situation. The guy would sell his soul for a buck. Atrium stopped this practice a short time ago probably due to the bad press they have received. They are one of the few hospital chains that do this due to the unsavory nature of it. But there are thousands of people in the NC that's lives have been completely destroyed during the most difficult time of their life so they could give millions dollar bonuses to their executives and pay Mr Mcintosh's fees.
