Bad breakfast, poor service at a very non descript gas station cafe. I will never repeat the experience of eating at this place.

A hidden gem. You can't get food like this anywhere else in Glendive. The menu is amazing and everything I've tried has been amazing. The drinks are equally as amazing. Such a nice staff, always make you feel welcome and are quick to serve you. They have indoor and seasonal outdoor seating. read more

Eventually, we learned they had to turn on and heat up the flat-top grill after we placed our order. At lunchtime on a Wednesday, that was surprising. Had we known the grill wasn't already operating, we probably would have chosen somewhere else. We're traveling and were hoping for a quick meal, but it took nearly an hour from start to finish, with over 30 minutes passing before our food arrived. Unfortunately, the food itself was even more disappointing than the wait. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet but was served a bacon and cheese omelet instead, which is a pretty significant difference. The pancake was dense, dry, and almost flavorless -- it honestly tasted like it was made from little more than flour and water. The French toast was acceptable but nothing memorable. Overall, we took a few bites from everything but barely touched our food. We've been traveling for a month and eating at restaurants all over the country, and this was easily the most disappointing meal we've had on the road. The staff was pleasant, but between the long wait, incorrect order, and poor food quality, we won't be returning next time we pass through.
