Great place to hang out and enjoy coffee, tea or one of their fantastic sandwiches! Highly recommend

My co worker went to pick us up some coffee to start our day. Got my usual Caramel Macchiato as I did not see any special flavors when I looked at their website menu. I would say caramel macchiato's are my go to fallback if there's nothing new to try. My coworker also brought us a blueberry scone. It is light, fluffy and full of blueberries, which is what I love. It's not that hard, dense scone that you find a lot of coffee shops. You can tell. This was baked with love. As far as the service, I'm sorry, I cannot say, as I am not the one who went to go pick it up. Ambience and Decour from the pictures and the greenhouse picture that he sent me. I'm sorry that I missed out.

The cutest coffee shop set in a former greenhouse! Friendly baristas make my lavender latte perfectly! (Not easy to find in Montana!). The raspberry scone was freshly baked and so good, not at all hard and stale, just delicious! Can't wait to try them for the winery at night!

Unexpectedly great food in small MT town. Definitely stop if you have time. Went here with a small group. Everything on the menu was tempting and I tried many of the sandwiches. All of them were heavenly. Great flavor, fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Make sure ou step out back and check out the cute garden area in the back if weather allows.

A piece city in the country; a coffee wine bar with delectable salads sandwiches and treats. An array of options to drink . Unfortunately food shortages have hit this amazing place too but the kindness and friendliness of the staff more than make up for it.

We stopped here for coffee and breakfast on our way through Montana. The sweet potato breakfast wrap is a perfect mix of vegetables and flavors. The cold coffee was perfect. In addition there is indoor and outdoor seating perfect for eating and conversation.

Stopped for gas on our way to Big Sky and went here for a quick lunch. What a great idea. The sandwiches were amazingly fresh and delicious. I had the Smokehouse grilled sandwich and it was the best sandwich I've had in a very long time. My daughter had the pesto chicken on a baguette and that was equally awesome. Wife's spinach salad was great too. She took half of it with her on our long drive and finished it somewhere between Billings and Bozeman. Very cute restaurant and coffee shop located amidst a bunch of old green houses. Plenty of outdoor tables in front and behind the restaurant in this lovely courtyard. STOP YOUR CARS WHILE DRIVING THROUGH MONTANA AND EAT HERE!! Oh the drinks were delicious too. Everything reasonably priced. And friendly, helpful employees to boot! It's a really well run business. Just wish we had something like this back in Minnesota.

We found this place when driving through Montana last fall and just felt it was one of the highlights of our road trip. We went out back and ate a fantastic lunch. The ambiance was second to none and the sandwiches were awesome. I highly recommend this unusual place.

Omg! On a cross-country road trip, looking for healthy and yummy food. This place has an amazing menu (veggie options) and tasted so good. The ambiance made my jaw drop, so cute and delightful! A greenhouse filled with windows and light, peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend stopping here... I wanted to stay for longer but sadly had to keep on driving! What a hidden gem!!!!

Cutest cafe ever! The employees were very sweet and the gal that rang us up made some bomb drinks for us. I hope one day were able to come back and enjoy the beautiful patio while sipping on some wine!

Ate here in early June 2024. It was excellent, but tricky to find due to road construction!

Not open Mondays! Yelp listing is not accurate. Google is also not accurate. It's in some kind of mall type place, hard to locate.

We were told the fryers were down, which wasn't a problem since we planned to order breakfast items anyway. Our server was friendly, but service felt disorganized from the start. She forgot to bring my coffee, and I had to ask for it while she was sitting at the desk computer. We also noticed our food was taking an unusually long time to arrive, despite us being the only customers in the restaurant. Eventually, we learned they had to turn on and heat up the flat-top grill after we placed our order. At lunchtime on a Wednesday, that was surprising. Had we known the grill wasn't already operating, we probably would have chosen somewhere else. We're traveling and were hoping for a quick meal, but it took nearly an hour from start to finish, with over 30 minutes passing before our food arrived. Unfortunately, the food itself was even more disappointing than the wait. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet but was served a bacon and cheese omelet instead, which is a pretty significant difference. The pancake was dense, dry, and almost flavorless -- it honestly tasted like it was made from little more than flour and water. The French toast was acceptable but nothing memorable. Overall, we took a few bites from everything but barely touched our food.  We've been traveling for a month and eating at restaurants all over the country, and this was easily the most disappointing meal we've had on the road. The staff was pleasant, but between the long wait, incorrect order, and poor food quality, we won't be returning next time we pass through.

Hubby got the biscuit barge with sausage and eggs and gravy. He said it was great. He said the sausage was very good. I ordered the chicken fried steak with hash-browns and eggs and toast. It was a lot of food. The chicken fried steak was very good. No complaints. The white gravy was very good and flavorful. Just ordered water for drinks but the coffee smelled great and the wait staff walked around with the coffee pot to refill cups. They had specials posted on the board behind the counter which sounded really good. Will have to go back. It appeared like a lot of locals were eating there. Parking was not bad, street parking in front of the building. Moderately priced. Menu was very large too!! Lots of options. Will return soon.

I always get the biscuits and gravy and add something else like eggs and hash browns. I noticed today they have the Biscuit Barge which includes biscuits and gravy, hash browns, a sausage patty and two scrambled eggs and was perfect! The gravy is creamy and savory and the hash browns just the right amount of crisp. Combined with two scrambled eggs and fresh biscuits and you got yourself a meal. The ambiance is what you would expect from a small town diner, including warm hospitality and a slew of regulars filling the room with tales of the simple life, clanging dishes, and laughter. Final comments include the excellent service received. Three servers worked the room, like they were working, a cattle drive or something, each covering the other, anticipating the need for coffee refresh, and while doing this clearly having a good time. Highly recommend Sonny's and look forward to coming back, and perhaps branching off of my standard biscuits and gravy and venturing into one of the delicious looking omelettes or one of the Mexican breakfast offerings.
