I am so grateful we found Lindsay. Our daughter took to her right away as Lindsay is so kind and has such a good heart. But she also knows her stuff. She was really able to meet our daughter where she was and help her progress and find ways to communicate even without words. Barb sent a long email to all of the patients, apologizing and displaying her entire personal life, blaming her personal problems for not compensating. We had no warning and it caused our kids emotional distress and to regress. We got lucky and found a stable place to take them. This place and the owner are not stable. I'm very surprised to see this place is in business. It was only when they started calling asking for their $100 we owed them that we found out.

Our twins made incredible progress within 3 months of being there seen by Sean and Autumn. The twins built a close relationship with both of them and we saw progress at home. To our disappointment both therapists quit abruptly and unexpectedly without notice. Our kids had a very hard time with this as there was no transition period, in fact it hindered and backtracked all the progress they had made. We received an e-mail from Sean that he would no longer be working there due to personal differences and not having been paid by the owner. A few days later I reached out to Autumn because I had a gut feeling something more was going on as she had cancelled her appointment with our son. She as well was leaving due to personal differences and not being paid. From what I gathered due to emails from both Occupational Therapists and the owner Barb, there was quite a bit of conflict with her business and its financial stability. She had sent out an e-mail to the client's apologizing but also displaying her personal life in an unprofessional manor, as to why she's been struggling with keeping Sprocket Therapy open. Thankfully we were able to get them into Cornerstone Pediatric Occupational Therapy in Pleasantview without a wait. As a parent you want the best for your child. To see your child struggle due to something that could have been prevented or fair warned is really frustrating.

One would think the medical industry had appropriate staffing to handle transfers at any time. We were told by the hospital case manager that we were good to go and Natalie at NHC said come over, Mom was discharged and I showied up 2 hours later only to be told she would not be admitted since they couldn't get her meds on a holiday weekend...what a joke - my 83 yr old Mom sitting in the car and being told to take her back to the hospital for 2 more days. It's not that simple. TERRIBLE- I will take my money somewhere else and be sure to tell everyone I meet that this place is not only unprofessional but super dark and depressing inside. After seeing the place I am glad it worked out the way it did.
