I did not deduct stars for this but would like to give fair warning that the snack bar this summer was VERY slow, understaffed, and prone to errors the times that we used it. I hope it improved throughout the season but we haven't utilized it since midway through the summer. We'll try again next year!

Also, special events like bar mitzvahs pop-up and make the gymnasium unavailable. It's a nice facility, but it's not a great value.

YES, there are a lot of rules and for a good reason!! If you don't want to come here to only swim or play Marco Polo, go somewhere else. Many people were told by the lifeguards where were rules on what was acceptable in the pool, which has yet to be found on the website. There are bathrooms, changing areas, showers, and a free splash pad outside the pool area. There is a designated food and eating area, but l've notice people "claim" the tables, even when not eating at them. Before entering the pool area, a fee must be paid. There are options to purchase a pool membership or pay a daily drop in fee; drop in fee is $5 for residents and $7 for non residents. You can bring your own chair/blanket to setup on the grassy area. There are drinks and snacks at the concession stand for a fee. They also offer swim lessons. The splash pad is small and simple, coming from Florida we had so many large and elaborate splash pads that were free. I know that this is New England and splash pads aren't a year-round thing so it doesn't have to be free or elaborate but since I was spoiled, I had to deduct a star for that reason. The pools were large and clean and there were plenty of amenities in the park. There is a free playground, skatepark, tennis courts, ball field, basketball courts, and picnic pavilions. Parking is ample.
