DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. Recommendation to other customers, DO NOT start the work until you have the estimate in writing. Very poor business practice in this company. I called Bloomhouse Landscape and Irrigation to obtain an estimate to replace 13 sprinkler heads. I was informed that the cost should not exceed $700, if the cost when above that, I would be informed before moving forward. I walked the ground with the two-man team to explain what I needed. The team lead recommended an additional sprinkler head in the back yard. I asked for the cost, and he stated that it should not exceed $100, so I agreed, thinking that the total cost would be around $800. Upon the finish, I walked the ground to check the sprinkler heads. I'm satisfied with the work and provided the lead person with $40 cash, a $20 bonus for each person. Later, I was informed that the bill was $1,881.83, over a $1,000 increase over the estimate. I paid with a check and three (3) days later I still don't have a receipt. I've called the office 3-4 times trying to obtain why the large increase in cost and for a receipt. Still no reply. I won't use this company for any work moving forward. Recommendation to other customers of this company, DO NOT start the work until you have the estimate in writing. read more

Their tree service is top notch. I had an extremely tall pine tree with big thick branches hanging over the house. It was time for it to come down. They were supposed to be equally spaced, and there are huge gaps. But the problem with them is I called them back out to install some pine straw and after going back back-and-forth for over two weeks, they showed up very late and did not even have the materials to do the job. We went over the job and discussed what needed to be done and agreed on a total price. He then left a Home Depot to find out the material cost and then texted me. The materials would be an additional $90. When I told him that was unacceptable as we agreed on a total price, he told me it's too late as he already purchased the materials.! for me. It was not as much as the price increase as the fact of agreeing to a price and then turning around and telling me I owe for additional materials. I would suggest you find yard men and not yard boys.
