In fact the first time I was there doing this, an older Amish man told me to wait & he got me 6 of the most gorgeous perfect peppers you've ever seen from the back. Those were by far the best stuffed peppers I ever made. I haven't seen him the last 2 seasons though. This is the ONLY place I get my peppers for stuffed peppers. Today I got 6 peppers & a butternut squash for $2.50.

SUPER difficult... there are only 3 places in the state of Ohio that are listed online as not only Seed Safe... but Monsanto free. Gallon pots of tomatoes... not many... but I showed up right at 9 am and lucked out... dozens and dozens of varieties of the "normal" size containers you can get elsewhere... not only a plethora of tomatoes... but hot peppers... herbs...and the lettuce!! Let me tell you about the lettuce... the cutest little sample packs in the world... 6 tiny plants of 2 leaf lettuce and 1 kale variety... just perfect to rotate harvests with the "normal" size seedlings. They participate in the Norwalk Farmer's Market.. .and even had some jam on hand for sale. This was a 150 mile round trip for me... maybe I'll make it back later in the season when my lettuce is gone... sure wish they were closer!!
