It's hard to put in words the experience I had at Blooming Orchid. Blooming Orchid went above and beyond any service I expected a few weeks ago. I found their entire staff to be outstanding and I want to give a special thank you to Robert Adams. I was in Houma about 3 weeks ago just for the weekend visiting family. I went to Blooming Orchid before it closed to purchase a floral arrangement for my dad's mausoleum. While waiting on the arrangement to be completed, my truck unexpectedly stopped on me while I was few blocks away. I called the store and informed the staff about my unexpected situation. I was disappointed thinking that I would not be able to purchase or receive the arrangement to be able to place it on my dad's mausoleum. Robert volunteered to meet me. He arrived and waited with me while a tow truck driver arrived to pick up my truck. He drove me back to the store to allow me to purchase the arrangement. Robert then drove me to my dad's mausoleum and personally assisted me with securely placing the floral arrangement on my dad's mausoleum. He then drove me to my family's residence in Gray. It was above and beyond anything I would have expected, and I will forever remember and appreciate the service I received. Thank you, Robert and thanks to the entire staff. I am not from Houma and did not know where to order flowers for a funeral arrangement. I spoke to a lady from Blooming Orchid on the phone and told her what we wanted. She was very professional and very helpful. The arrangement that we sent to the funeral was by far the best spray there. It stood out from the rest because it was so beautiful and full. What an incredible experience! They were able to do a same day delivery for me, on a flower-centric Friday. I spoke with Angela, the proprietor, and she was so kind and helpful in finding the perfect flower assortment for my order. This was especially helpful seeing as I am not local, so the order had to be done remotely. I received photos of the arrangement from the recipient, and it was absolutely stunning. I normally like to see what I'm ordering before I spend any money. I've been using a "big box" florist that I dred whenever I purchase from them. So I Googled florist's in the area and chose Blooming Orchards. I was impressed with the pictures on their website, I just went for it. I called them, explained the occasion and my worries were put to rest by the calming,confident voice on the other line. The arrangement was delivered in record time and they made my Mother-in-law extremely happy. She sent me a picture and I must agree, the arrangement is absolutely gorgeous!
