Built in an old paint factory (or something similar), there are two full sized courts and a smaller kids size/practice court. If you haven't played futsal before, it's similar to indoor soccer, but without aid of walls, a smaller court and smaller not very bouncy ball. The emphasis is on foot skills. They have quite a number of adult leagues, which mostly fall into either the male or co-ed variety, as well as some offerings for youth players and pick-up games. Leagues usually last about 8 weeks. Bonus: Brooklyn Park Pub is at the other end of the street.

The other field has huge gashes in it which have been glued together, two of which are in the goalie box. As a goalie this presents a problem when diving for a ball. Those rough glue spots can make for some nasty cuts on open skin. Also, there has been at "Out of order" sign up in the men's restroom for some months now. The music! What's with the music? It's the same six or seven songs on repeat for the last 6 seasons I've played there! Seriously?! You can't play some internet radio like Songza or something? A new play list? Anything? I don't think the leagues are monitored as well as they could be. I understand we as a team lose a lot of the games we play but there are times we play where it's almost an even game and there are times we play where I think we are playing teams that are two or three levels above us because we just get destroyed. Destroyed like 20 some odd goals AFTER the mercy rule. One more thing, it's really expensive to play here for it to be in such bad shape and not offer anything else. What is all that money going to if it's not going to upkeep? We probably won't play here again next season as there are now other options in the Portland area. I guess I am going for the amenities after all, I want to be comfortable before, during, and after a game.

Lents Park is a nice enough neighborhood park…read more It's got the Pickles baseball stadium, a couple other baseball fields, soccer fields and goals, basketball and tennis courts, wall ball, big open fields, some picnic tables, and a community garden. There's a wood chip walking path that encompasses it all. It's not huge and the streets that surround it are pretty busy, so it doesn't really feel like you're out in nature. It's mostly flat so it doesn't have any scenic views. I wish people took better care of the park - I saw a number of dogs that weren't picked up after. There is a small parking lot along 92nd, otherwise it is street parking. Not sure about bathrooms, but there were portapotties.

He does not play favorites and meets every kid where they are at. Mine is very talkative and is always so kind to her. He always remembers her name and makes her feel welcome and special. They all keep amazing boundaries and teach the kids to have good boundaries. She has learned great skills that she even uses in her every day life. They have made soccer fun and accessible to all. I could not have asked for a better introduction to soccer for my daughter. We will be back for winter session, as long as the kiddo wants to keep going!

Ok this is a post renovation review... for people with smaller kids... so keep that in mind ehhh…read more We drove by as we do to get to the freeway and saw this mid construction. We saw these crazy new fixtures there and had to stop in when it was done. The new structure is AMAZING, maybe the best off the wall structure in the area, minus the massive wood ones (sandy, troutdale, washington park) The ground is so soft and bouncy, it has a hill with turf to slide down with boxes, it has just so much new cool items, and the area is really tuning around as Portland pushes east. Beyond that, why is this so cool? It has bike jumps, though many use it for RC cars/trucks. It has 3 full traditional play grounds on the property. It has a massive black top for ball sports, biking, skating, etc. It has an onsite bathroom. It is not a homeless park, so don't have to worry about all that as much. It is our new go to park, and i cant wait for better weather to get the BBQ out there. I would say to definitely try this park out and see the kids eyes light up. If you have any RC bring that swag too, you'll have fun!! PRO TIP: Keep it classy and clean up after yo damn self, the city isn't yo momma.
