Not a great experience. We posted this to Google as well…read more Despite being told the owner would be in on a certain day, the owner was not, and we were left with a gal who clearly wasn't listening. We kept saying we just wanted long stem roses, Fresh, and she kept pushing us towards "a garden-variety" The translation being they didn't have enough of one flower to create a fresh bouquet, and that seems to be the go to for this particular florist is just a general wildflower garden look rather than a more sophisticated polished presentation. Totally fine if that's what we wanted, but since we clearly stated, we wanted fresh roses, I guess the gal working wasn't comfortable being truthful and saying "we actually don't have any fresh roses in today". We wasted about 10 minutes, trying to create an order until we finally realized that, regardless of what we asked for, they most likely were going to throw in a bunch of wildflowers to make up for the fact, they didn't have fresh roses. General note to Owner: you're a florist. The people working for you should know the difference between a longstem rose and a garden rose- but, it was clear from the conversation we had that either she didn't know the difference, or was hoping we wouldn't notice that she kept slipping in the word "garden rose" when we kept saying we wanted long stem. And wasting a prospective customers time because you don't have fresh flowers in is not the way to do business. Tell them to call back another day when you've got fresh flowers, but don't try to sell them something they don't want. Thank you.

Absolutely loved the flowers for my daughter's wedding. The delivery came early for pictures as well. We couldn't have been more pleased.

I landed on the Flower Basket because of its rave reviews on Yelp. It was a decent drive from where…read moreI live, but I was willing to try them because I haven't been happy with the florist choices closer to my home. Ive actually driven by it many times, so I was aware of their existence and location. The staffers were very friendly, easygoing and professional. I described what I needed, and provided special ribbon to include in the design. There was a phone call to remind me that the arrangement was ready, and that the florist closed early on Saturday (very much appreciated this reminder). At pick-up, I was helped immediately. When the designer of the arrangement pulled my order from the cooler, I was speechless about how perfect it was: the specific measurements were correct, the ribbon I requested to include was used perfectly, it had a wonderful unique and asymmetrical design, and the assortment of white flowers was beautiful. And there were A-LOT of flowers. I was expecting tons of green filler, but the green was just an accent. This was for a very special occasion, so I gave them a budget of $80. Yeah - paying THAT much for something that's just gonna whither away? Yeah - I get it. But in the end, I was SO HAPPY, as were the others at this event. This is my go-to florist from now on.

Locally owned, so yay for supporting local businesses!! Very friendly employees as two asked if I needed anything and gave me my space when I said I was just browsing. One told me a bit about Flower Basket as they've been around for several years, just moved a couple times from Pecue Lane and Florida Blvd and now here. She was very patient with me and my Yelpsta curiosity and questions. Lots of great gift ideas here! Some stuff reminded me of Hobby Lobby or Michael's, but the prices here were competitive and some cheaper than Michael's for sure. Lots of customization and ideas...wreaths (tons of ribbon to use), flower or gift basket type arrangements, etc. I think that's more their specialty than gifts in general for sale. Oh and antiques too. Long story short, go support local and buy from Flower Basket!
