My husband had Blossom come to our house to remove a patch of agapanthus bulbs that we couldn't get out. Two guys showed up with pickaxes and made short work of it. $50 and we were very pleased, so we tried to get them to come back to fix a cracked retaining wall. They were supposed to be here on a Tuesday. Nothing. No call, no show. Spent the day waiting. We called them again. This time my husband spoke to the son, Brian, who assured him that he and his father would be here at 9 AM on Saturday. At 8:30 AM, they called and said they'd be here at 2 PM.... nothing. No call. Total ghost. We are so done with them. I don't get all the 5-star reviews. read more

How to get your property looking spiffy fast? Call. These. GUYS. He started with a pretty difficult project to clean up our backyard that was taken over by our pet chickens. In less than 2 days, they had the entire back yard clean AND secured all of our chickens in a well put-together coop that my German Shepard can no long free her chicken friends. Now they're working on rebuilding our fence because Ignacio and his crew get the work done. I saw a review down there saying that these guys are swindlers because he didn't like the quote he received after he called for several quotes... that's completely uncalled for. Yard work changes and if you want to get it done professionally and promptly this is the way to go. Capitalism at its finest. When Ignacio first responded, he brought his son, Brian. I thought it was to help interpret because I am hearing impaired and English is not his first language. Not so. He presented himself as honest and hardworking. The hardworking part was true. He charged me $450 to remove a bush and trim two areas in preparation for exterior painting of my house. I was led to believe it would just be him and possibly his son, next thing I know I had three work trucks and a big crew in my yard. Overkill for such a small job and overpriced. We had also previously negotiated him installing an over the range microwave. He said 100 or $150. He turned around and then said he wanted $350 which is over and above what the appliance store would've installed it for at $250. There were even any new or additional parts that were needed, despite him claiming so. I had communicated with him that I am on disability and cannot afford what he was asking me for these jobs. He also expressed interest in the fact that I want a second bathroom installed. I will never hire this person again, he has no compunctions about fleecing a single disabled mother for her finances. Fortunately, I was able to talk him down to $180 to install my microwave. I should've had the appliance store, install my microwave, so I didn't have to deal with the headache of trying to avoid being swindled and taken advantage of. He also told me he would come to my house today but I'm pretty certain he won't, because apparently he has many other jobs and a whole crew that he has to supervise. I'm not even going to remind him about it, because I'm not going to hire him again. His son, Brian, although he is still a kid in high school, seemed to recognize my situation and seemed empathetic and I believe he was the reason why I was able to talk Ignacio down to $180 to install my microwave. Ignacio even tried to solicit lawn care from me, but when I told him what I was paying my current landscaper, he gave up. He realized he couldn't bilk me for more money when I already had a regular landscaper. The very last thing he did before he left, was tell me that there was something wrong with the foundation of the house. The floor squeaked when he stepped on a floorboard (carpet was completely replaced just two months ago) he hopped up and down excitedly on the squeaky spot his eyes got really wide as he was explaining to me what the problem was and that he would climb under the house for me the next day to check it out. I believe this man was just fabricating things as he went along in a bid to extract more finances from me. So, I sit here with worries that by some chance he may be right and my house is going to partially collapse. Shame on him. read more

Blossom is my "go-to" business for nearly every project involving the upkeep or improvement to my home. Whether it's outdoors or inside, Ignacio and his crew are excellent at what they do! Their efficiency and attentiveness is evident in every task performed. Jobs are always finished timely, respectfully with a positive attitude. Ignacio's response time is excellent; he is reliable and it is obvious he really cares about his customers. I have yet to be disappointed or upset by the end result of any job he and his crew have competed for me and am always beyond pleased by the strong work ethic that exists. On April 4th I wrote a review about this business but at the time I hadn't taken photos of our yard and the way it looks now....these are the results after almost a year...these photos are taken of different areas of the back yard...the yard cost us close to $4000 and the landscaper had to return to reseed it and this is the FINAL RESULTS....we have kept it mowed and watered the way Blossom Landscaping recommended....there is nothing but weeds and bare spots....it's very upsetting because we are senior citizens and feel we have been taken... read more

Called for a quote on yard maintenance on a rental property. Ignacio was prompt to respond, which was great. I wanted an average size yard mow with weeding once a month. He quoted me at $280 per month. I've called for several other quotes and his rate is way beyond typical going market rates. Seems like a swindle to me. I can't say anything about the work he performs because I didn't give him the opportunity at his outrageous price. Given his swindling scam, I'd give one star. However, his promptness and courtesy bumps it to 2 stars. read more
