I sure hope the owner is well. I realize anything is possible including an unfortunate circumstance that prevents his responding to communication. Until I hear otherwise, though, I will outline my experience of him and his business. I had a pleasant first phone call with owner Jason Sefton in August this year wherein I learned his company JNM Construction doesn't do interior painting however, the owner Jason generously offered to do a walk-through consult at no cost since we would be newly relocating our family to the area and had other house reno needs, as well. I took him up on that and we scheduled a time and date two months later. Jason failed to show up for that first and only home consult appointment, but I didn't hold it against him because he was apologetic and gracious when I called him and; he drove right over so that we did have the walk-through. Jason was professional, warm, clear in communication and seemed to genuinely be interested in the projects and various outcomes I am seeking, which was a huge relief to me. These renovations include a mud room add-on with pantry shelves and laundry, a fireplace removal and relocation and a wall of windows in its place. I thought we found the right contractor and we agreed to keep talking since we hadn't yet moved. Unprompted Jason also initiated an offer to bid on our interior paint job saying he had recently hired a painter who needed work. I expressed ambivalence only because we were considering waiting on that job to do the other higher priority projects (and had a wonderful experience with Duane, owner of CDH Painting company who'd provided us a bid). In his next email communication to me Jason said that he wanted to bring his new painter guy and walk our house again to bid on the interior paint job saying he'd give a good price so I responded with our lockbox code given I'd since left town. Jason said he'd be going that Thursday. Welp. I never heard from him since. His phone goes to voicemail. I've sent 3 email inquiries including the all-important 'did you lock our house back up?' question early on. Obviously, this has been unsettling for a few reasons but none more so than that I gave this person access to our vacant home (now occupied). Jason, I hope you're alright. Very unprofessional if you are, though and you did cause me needless stress as a result of not following through. I will amend this review should I learn something happened out of your/his control. read more

We have had Jason and his crew out for 3 separate projects now, and I'm constantly pleased with the quality and ease it is to work with him. You can tell how hardworking these guys are, the price is competitive and they don't cut corners. The first time Jason came out to provide an estimate he said he shoots from the hip and that sums it up. He has the experience to foresee problems others would miss in the planning, and has cost-effective solutions to make you feel taken care of. You get transparency in pricing and quality work. Our house has been transformed into what truly feels like home, including a full kitchen remodel, bath remodel, flooring installation, paint, baseboards, window trim, lighting; we moved our laundry room to have a more open concept design, and Jason took exactly what we envisioned and made it happen. He navigated the permitting and we never had to worry about any details. That said, he puts in serious hours and we are so appreciative. The latest project was a fence and gate with solar lights and they busted it out in no time. I made an appt to have an estimate done with Jason. I drove 20 mins out of my way to only be stood up. I called 10 mins after our appointment time and left a message. I got a call from Jason almost 5 hours later saying he was sorry and that he got "caught up" on a job. Well, Jason, it only takes a couple seconds to call or text to let me know you wanted to reschedule. I understand things come up and I would have been ok with rescheduling our appointment, BUT it is VERY unprofessional to not call or text. I will def be going with another person for my job. read more

After being given the run around trying to get another company to do repairs on my new home I was referred to JNM. Jason came and took a look and started swinging a hammer and fixing the "simple" things during his original estimate. I was told by the other guys, during the purchasing process, that my fireplace would have to be completely torn down and it would cost me upwards of $5,000. Jason was honest and let me know that it was a simple re-grouting issue and got it done in a flash. I would absolutely recommend him. I called him frantic about my dog breaking the gate and he came same day to check it out and let me know when he could get to it. I'm not sure what the other guy's (who left that other review) issue was, but Jason is officially my Go-To guy to get things done. He could have easily gotten me for a nice chunk of change but his work ethic and integrity shined through. If you want it done right give him a call. I mean seriously.....He is awesome!!! read more
