My favourite dishes are Pork, Egg, Prawn Dumplings as starters with Braised Beef Noodle for mains. Unfortunately, I haven't tried their desserts yet but I would definitely share my experience next time. I am from Southeast Asian background and I am not an expert with Chinese cuisines so I had to ask my Chinese mates from the university and at least 8 out of 10 said that this place is highly recommended. The reason I only gave 4 out of 5 stars is because during winter time, they still leave the doors open and it's very cold inside. Overall, I am more than happy to come back.

Although the restaurant calls itself a hotpot joint, it isn't hotpot in the traditional sense, it is more similar to Masterbowl in that you get a large communal bowl filled with whatever you choose from the menu, plus veggies. The servings of meat seem expensive, but a regular serving (around $30) is enough to feed 2 people easily. Side dishes (things like dumplings) cost about $10 for a plate. You can also choose the spiciness level, be warned though, when they say spicy they mean spicy, so if you're not too keen on spice, it's best to order the lowest level of spicy. That being said though, the meat is very morish, especially the little bits at the bottom of the bowl! The waitresses don't speak very much English but it's not really a problem, when you arrive at the restaurant you're ushered to a table and given a big sheet of paper and a pen. The big sheet of paper is the menu, in English and Chinese, and the pen is to mark which menu items you want to order. You hand it back to the waitress after you're done choosing. All in all, a pretty inexpensive (it costs around $20 a head, including a drink) and fun place to eat. Probably wouldn't recommend it to solo eaters though due to the large portion sizes designed for sharing.
