Since I had never had one prepared that way, I thought I'd give it a try. I enjoyed the experience. The perfect size rib eye steak was brought out with beautiful grill marks, sizzling on a hot stone for me to finish the cooking to my preferred state of doneness (medium rare of course). I sprinkle on a little salt & pepper, flipped it over twice until it had a nice sear & was ready to go. The flavor of the meat was great, it was a perfect medium rare. The experience was worth it. The pork, beek and lamb I have bought from there has all been from Wales. The mince meat I had looked low in fat. Lamb is always my favourite. If you are not a great cook, its very hard to go wrong with a pre prepared lamb kebab on the skewer with different coloured peppers. Their home made beef burgers are just 70p each. This restaurant simply denies any responsibility and accuses the customers. Funny how they 'pride' themselves on everything when most negative reviews allude to the fact it has went down hill and the customer service is problematic. Think twice before you visit everyone. 1) the manager should have removed the waiter from the situation, after he raised his uneasiness to her regarding my partner's attitude (which he just asked to be seated somewhere else and clarification on "unholy bbq sauce"). 2)she shouldn't have stirred the pot and criticised my partner, right after "the gesture of goodwill". It was unnecessary and unprofessional, also irritated both parties and added fuel to the fire. I don't know what she wanted to achieve from doing so, except deliberately insulted my partner which is clearly unacceptable in the hospitality industry. Also, when asked how or what was said to be rude, no clarification was given. 3) Last but not least, instead of spending so much time on making up false statements and refuting the points that I have made, you should own up to your mistake and spend the time on training your staff. When it arrived it looked amazing. It also came with some bread and a side salad which was delicious in itself. The meat was cooked to perfection and every mouthful was amazing. Even the rice was perfectly cooked and delicious. The toilets are small. The ladies toilet is a single disabled toilet and the men's toilet is a single toilet. The toilet was clean, tidy, and had a variety of toiletries to use. The only negative thing I can say is that the waiter didn't come over after our meals were served to check that everything was OK, but the restaurant was full to capacity so we can forgive that. This was the nicest kebab type dish I have ever had and the best restaurant I have been to in a long time. I will definitely be going back.
