Absolutely horrible follow through and lack of communication from this company. I had reached out for a roofing repair quote and scheduled a time to meet with Edvin. The initial time suggested wouldn't work for me so Edvin stated he would be on site 30 mins earlier. 10:30 AM arrives. No-show from Edvin. No communication, no update, no notice. 8 mins past our agreed upon meeting time, I had to be the one to initiate finding out what happened. Shouldn't the business be the one letting me know if they couldn't make the time BEFORE the agreed upon time? After finding out Edvin couldn't meet that day, he said he could be there the following day at 11AM. Again, another no-show from this company. No communication, no update, no notice. Even after giving them the benefit of the doubt asking if we were still meeting 7 mins AFTER the agreed time, Edvin chose to read the message and remained silent. It took 6 months from start to finish and a lot of back and forth. In early Dec 2020 I hired Edvin's company to fix my metal roof that got damaged from a tree. I thought it was a small job and paid deposit right away. They said they could start Monday Dec 5. Then Dec 9 Edvin said the metals have been delayed for a week due to the holidays. Dec 29 I asked when they would start. They scheduled then canceled on me Jan 14, 26, 30, then Feb 8, and said it was due to inclement weather. Then they handed me off to Sam and said there was confusion and language barrier. Then Feb 25 they said they were waiting on metals again but they did start pulling off the damaged roof. Then I contacted them Mar 1, 3 and no answer. Then Mar 4, 6, 11, 17, 18, 19, 24, 29 it was either sporadic or no communication until I threatened bad reviews. Apr 1 they replaced the new metal roof section. It was not the matching striation of the original panels but I didn't make them change it. I inspected the work and I asked them to cover a small soffit area with metal to protect it and make it look uniform. Also they needed to clean up their scraps. Apr 20 they still had not come back. May 21 they asked for final payment. I reminded them they needed to do the touchups and clean up again. May 25 they finally completed the work and I submitted final payment. read more

I moved into the Lynwood area very recently and wanted to get the exterior of my house painted. It is a challenge to coordinate with businesses as they are often very busy (which is great!) but challenging for homeowners. I ran across Blue Angels Prestige on Yelp and saw the they had some very strong reviews and a few not as strong. The reviews were primarily about the roof work they provide and not the painting. I was really wanting to get painting done so I had reached out to them via YELP messages and originally I had a bit of trouble getting started with them. I think there was some miscommunication on their end which once we got started they apologized for. The quote they gave for exterior painting seemed very reasonable so I thought, why not try and get more information? I worked primarily with Sam and asked him for some painting references since there weren't reviews on the site. He gave me some references as well as some photos of work they had done. I contacted the references (all three were positive) and looked at the photos which looked great. Sam was very personable, professional, and eager to work with us. Besides the slightly rocky start, this was an excellent experience. Sam outlined the work and explained what they would be doing throughout the week to make their timeline. There were minor hiccups on timing (weather was one item which always is an issue out here I assume) but the project was done within two days of the timeline. The painters did an excellent job. They really transformed our house. They were professional, easy to work with, and a few even let us practice speaking Spanish (Im still a beginning learner so I appreciated the opportunity!). The work looked great, they cleaned up afterwards, it was terrific. These are pros. Communication with Sam as the 'project manager' was also stellar. He responded to texts quickly, gave great information, was kind, and really great to work with. His professionalism and demeanor made it all worth it. So- I would recommend these folks highly. The plumber installed a new vent stack through the roof. Unfortunately, it was supposed to rain in 2 days but Edvin was able to come out the next day and install a vent cover to make sure the vent stack was covered and to keep the rain from damaging the attic and drywall. Ok, so these guys (Edvin and team) are absolutely amazing. I've held off writing this review until the end of the heaviest of the rainy season so it would have more weight to it. So here it goes. We bought our house (flipped) a little over a year ago, had the roof inspected and was told it was brand new, and should last at least 20 years or so. This inspection was NOT done by Edvin or anyone associated with Blue Angels Prestige. Fast forward (not all that fast) a month or two, we were in the house and it started to rain hard (not all that surprising for winter time in Seattle), and our roof started to leak through the ceiling a little (very surprising since our roof inspector told us 3 months prior that our roof should last at least 20 years with proper maintenance). We called a bunch of roofers, got 2 to come out to look at our roof, and both of them said that we would have to replace the roof, and wasn't repairable. Next up, our son was born, and it stopped raining every day, so we kinda forgot about the roof in the commotion of new baby + pandemic. Now fast forward (for real) to this past winter, our roof started to leak in the same place, and 2 new places, and it was leaking like crazy (our bathroom ceiling almost collapsed from the water damage). I got 5 roofers to come out ( including Edvin ). 2 of the roofers said that they would have to replace the roof (they were only up there for maybe 10 mins total between the 2 of them, and would cost us at least 20-30K to replace), 1 of the roofers came for an inspection and never got back to us with anything at all, and then Edvin came out and took a look at our roof (he was up there inspecting it for at least 40mins to try to find where the problem was). He said he could fix it, in 2 days time, and we said.. amazing, but we had one more roofer coming out. He said that's cool.. go ahead and get another estimate, but he's not gonna beat my price, and I'll guarantee my work for 5 years as well. We said "cool" we'll call you back tomorrow and waited for the next guy to come. The next guy also said he could fix it, but he'd have to replace 1/3 of our roof to do it, but he could do it the next week... at which point we called up (my wife texted him actually) Edvin and told him we want to hire him. Edvin showed up on a Thursday, at around 8am, and was finished fixing the roof by that evening. These guys work their asses off, did an amazing job, and their fixes have lasted through all the major storms (thunder and lightning, ice and snow, heavy rain that lasted for days.. etc) that came through. They walked us through all the items in the project, and offered detailed information of options (shingles, skylights, and etc.). During the project, Sam replied my messages quickly and Edvin helped check the plywood status carefully. The only tiny flaw is, some teammates do not speak English, making instant communication a bit difficult. The work was finished in 4 days (roof + gutter). We were able to validate the next few days during rainfall that the roof was well replaced. I had a couple of roof leaks and contacted this company for an estimate. They gave a time slot on when they would arrive to provide an estimate, but then they texted to reschedule the time. That was fine, except they didn't show up and no one notified me. After texting them again, I was given another time slot and was told that the boss would give me a "special price" to make up for being late. When they finally arrived they examined the problem areas in the house, then went up on the roof and gave a price after identifying the issues. The price seemed high. In addition, they tried to up-sell me with a roof cleaning for a total of $1,300. I asked for a written quote without the roof cleaning as I had other contractors scheduled. I didn't get a written quote and when I texted them I didn't get any response whatsoever. I got my roof repaired by an outfit called Water Wise for less then half the cost of what Blue Angels Prestige or NW Prestige Homes, which was the other name they go by, quoted me. read more

The debris he showed me had nothing to do with the moisture inside the panes, which I tried to tell Edvin. The humidity wasn't on the inside of the house but contained between the panes. As I said, he wouldn't listen to me and kept talking about the moisture around getting in from the rain and debris. I understood what he was saying. i believe because he repeatedly tightened the same screws the window is totally unsealed now, as the pic shows, as I feared would result from the over tightening Edvin was doing. It's not a problem from when cloudy and raining, but on a sunny mornings when the trapped water evaporates inside the panes. The skylight will have to be replaced again to fix it. read more
