He just was kinda quiet and just sold me the comic. I thanked him again and brought it home. I opened it and no promo. Everything else but the Pikachu promo. I called to see what's up and to warn them about what just happened and no answer. I tried five times that day. Now it's Saturday and I called another 6 times just for no answer. So in my experience, they sell resealed product.

Nice small shop, not a lot of inventory but I managed to find a piece of rolling stock. Has a shelf layout on one of the walls. It was not operating but owner said I could run trains if I wanted to. My wife was waiting in the car so I kindly responded I better not start. The owner was very friendly and said they really catered to the kids. That's very comforting because I fear the hobby is dying with us old guys. I always enjoy looking at other layouts as you can get great ideas. Like I have a 9ft area the I need to look like a retaining wall, guess what, the had one, not 9ft but a long one. Best part they sold material I can use to build it. While this place was an era for us, we've found better stores in the Sarasota area that are way more friendly, knowledgeable, and love their regulars. Santiago is awesome, but the rest have no idea what's going on. Not even the owner. They never have what I need with regard to parts for common Traxxas and Arrma products, one will be in stock, but the others will not, even if it's a common item. The website is better (but don't try to order it for pickup, because they won't have it when you arrive). Shipping is like $3.99 for small orders though, and Amazon is cheaper if you have Prime because there is no shipping. The benefit to a brick-and-mortar store despite a slightly higher price is being able to get the item today. MyTobbies has the single largest selection in the Tampa area. The manager/owner is almost never there (unless it's the morning and only during the week so good luck with your warranty or a return if you buy something), and employees have to get verbal permission just to give you your money back. There used to be a bunch of great people there (Kevin, Jeremy, Tim, John, Wyatt) but they are all gone. Bottom line, there are better places. Here are a few I enjoy.
