Being new to the area, I would like to have the local experience as much as possible -- which also means finding a local coffee shop. I came across Blue Bridge via Wandaful Things' IG stories, as they source their cupcakes from there. They have an uncomplicated menu selection of coffee where you can customize it with their wide array of syrups and sauces. And if you are watching out for your glucose count, they also offer sugar-free syrups as well! They have both indoor and a couple of outdoor seating where you can bask in the rustic views of the surrounding structures. There's plenty of street parking, just make sure that there are no events happening during the time of your visit as the city closes this side of the area for festivities. Blue Bridge Coffeehouse also hosts some events such as floral workshops, craft fairs, and live music. They are also a big supporter of small businesses and invite food trucks at their storefront for lunch on certain days. Also, watch out for their specials too! read more

Before I continue, let me say that I hesitate because the more people know how great this place is, the more crowded it will get. It's a real Catch 22 situation... This is one of the smaller coffee places around, but definitely the best. Whatever beans they use produce a very smooth drink. The addition of baked goods makes my inner (and outer) fat kid happy. The shop is always clean, and the staff is the only thing sweeter than their signature Georgia Mudslide frozen drink. Trust me, try it. The drink and the coffee shop! Eh this place is pretty average. I'm an out of towner and I enjoy frozen coffees so when my sister from Kingsland heard about this place she was excited to have me try it. When I walked in the place had a lack of decor and had a weird smell due to the furniture store next door. There is also no menu up , just a small one taped on the counter. The "menu" just had a list of different flavors and syrups but no actual drinks. I asked the barista for her recommendation for a frozen "chocolate flavored" coffee and she recommended something called the Oreo coffee, I'm not sure of the actual name. It wasn't on the menu so if I hadn't asked I wouldn't have known. Honestly the only good thing about this place was the barista, she was very friendly and knowledgeable. When I got my coffee and took a sip I was disappointed. It tasted more like an oreo milkshake than an oreo coffee. I had my sister try it who hates coffee and she said she liked it because she couldn't taste the coffee. It would work well for someone who doesn't like the taste of coffee but not for someone who actually enjoys the taste of coffee. I had high hopes because of the good reviews, but the coffee was not good and I'm pretty sure the food was store bought and it was all overpriced. Atmosphere, food, and coffee, you need at least one to be good to have a great coffee shop but this spot was lacking. I think there is room for improvement though so I will try again later. read more

We accidentally discovered the town of Kingsland, and the Blue Bridge Coffeehouse, when we got off the highway looking for a Starbucks. This coffeehouse was better than any Starbucks. We had frappes that were tasty and refreshing in a way the national chain can't make them, with all fresh ingredients and a little TLC from the charming hostess at the counter. While we were waiting for them to be made, we browsed the adjoining incredible leatherwork store. Drinks in hand, we strolled the town a little and found it delightfully charming. Thank you, Blue Bridge Coffeehouse, for being a wonderful recall to times when quality counted more. Next time we're in the area, we'll need to come back. read more
