The business has therapists who specialize in any type of care and accept ages that range from children to seniors. Definitely call them, so you can find a therapist who specializes in what you're looking for. The location is in a good area and has a private parking lot with plenty of parking. The offices are decorated with artwork and quotes to adopt in your daily life like, "Thoughts are not facts." The furniture is comfortable and there are blankets, pillows, fidget toys and more in the offices for your use. The waiting room is small but comfortable, calming, and relaxing. At the time of this review, the Milcreek location is fairly new, so they are still working on remodeling some aspects of the place, but that is not an issue at all because it is such a high quality business.

We love Dr Burton!…read more Last year, before we got married, we decided to go see someone for "pre-marital" type of counseling to ensure that we started off married life on the right foot. I don't remember how we chose Dr Burton, but we both felt that we'd ended up with a great situation. He is very easy to talk to and immediately puts you at ease in his office. We mostly went together, but I went alone for one appointment and felt just as comfortable. It's also quite easy to schedule appointments- he doesn't have a receptionist or anything, but you can email him directly and he'll tell you when he has availability. Very easy! His new office is actually located on 1100 E, around 1500 S, in a new building right next to Whispers Cafe. If you're in the market for any sort of counseling or just want someone to talk to, Dr Burton is highly recommended!

I spent over 3 months trying to get started with therapy @ Healing Pathways, and they repeatedly didn't follow through so I finally wised up and went elsewhere. They never answer the phone. Their voicemail message asks you to leave a message, text or email them which I did multiple times before receiving a response. When they finally sent a message responding, it was clear they not listened to/read any of my messages, asked me what I was contacting them about it and asked me to call them at the same number (that they never answer) which I did and received no response. I had to email, text and call several more times before receiving a response. When I did receive communication from someone, the message didn't identify who was sending/leaving the message and I received vastly different information from one person/message to the next. At one point, I was told they had scheduled some appointments for me that they ended up canceling, without communicating a reason to me. They told me they would get back with me to reschedule and never did. I wish I would've sought out a solo therapist with good reviews in the first place who doesn't drop the ball, which would have saved me a so much time and frustration, and many months of my life!
