If it only had a pool it would be. I toured a couple of places and this one and their location called the East side are excellent. They don't stink which was a priority for me. My Mom is really fussy about the food she will eat but most of the meals are good. She can choose what she wants daily and they accommodate her. The staff ratio seems adequate and I can at least leave her knowing she will be ok. Her room is huge too. The Case Manager at the U of U Hospital is the most horrible person I have ever met. She was trying to put my Mom in these horrible places. I had to take over the process. When I got here I asked the admitting Nurse if Case Managers get perks from these places. She said that they do get paid but the Parent Company Of Aspen Ridge do not pay because they don't have to. They are the nicest place in town. I've already told them to hold me a spot in about 20 years it's that nice. Demand that your loved ones only get the best and this is the best.

About a year ago, I emailed the clinic to ask whether they treated men with Peyronie's disease because I had read that some pelvic floor physical therapists address pelvic floor issues related to that condition. I was simply asking whether it was a service they offered. I was not asking anyone to provide a treatment they were not comfortable or qualified to perform. Recently, I logged into the online scheduling system and saw that appointments with Kristina, whom I had seen previously, were available, so I scheduled one. The appointment was later canceled. When I texted to ask why, I was told that Kristina was not taking additional patients, the other practitioners at the clinic do not treat men, and that I was not a good fit for the clinic. As a former patient who spent more than $3,500 receiving care at the clinic, I was surprised and disappointed to learn that I was no longer considered a good fit. What surprised me further was that the explanation I received after the cancellation was very similar to the response I had received to my email about Peyronie's disease roughly a year earlier. Whether intentional or not, it felt like a generic response rather than one that addressed my specific situation. The experience was especially discouraging because I have contacted multiple pelvic floor physical therapy clinics looking for care as a male patient, and several referred me back to Uplift. When the clinic that other providers directed me to then declined to see me, I was left feeling like I had nowhere else to turn. After the appointment was canceled, my ability to schedule appointments through the online portal was removed. Before that, I had been able to schedule appointments myself. I was not given an explanation for why that changed. I understand that every clinic has the right to determine the services they offer and which patients they are able to accept. However, I was disappointed that they chose not to treat me, especially as a former patient who had previously received care there and after other clinics had referred me back to Uplift. I also wish the communication had been clearer before I scheduled an appointment rather than after it was canceled. Overall, the experience left me feeling confused, disappointed, and unsure where to turn for the care I need.

The only way to get management (Bobby, the "Executive Director") to respond is to get in front of him to complain. He then responds, but it doesn't last long and problems are reoccurring. I am not one to write a negative review to this degree until tonight. My MIL's room has a critical maintenance issue. We just learned this issue is throughout other rooms. This is a health concern. It was reported to the staff and again the next day to Bobby directly. Our concerns fell on deaf ears. Now on the weekend we learn the problem is not resolved and there is no building maintenance on the weekends. How is it that a facility of this size,with elderly care needs, has no maintenance on weekends? This is unacceptable. In the past all the excuses for lack of attention to issues have been understaffing due to Covid. While we understand the challenges businesses have faced and continue to face, there are things that can't be ignored. Care of our mother cannot be ignored! When she pushes her button she cannot wait an hour for help! Batteries in the alert system around her neck need to be checked regularly by the staff. It's issues such and this that bring us great concern. There have been many kind and caring caregivers who have loved my MIL. For that we are grateful. Unfortunately the best people are leaving and this allows for concern as to why. I wonder what the staff goes through, as we hear there are many unhappy residents with complaints such as ours. The staff at this facility is so compassionate and caring that I know, without a doubt, that my father is getting the best care. When I arrive to see him, he is alway dressed and well groomed. He is well fed and the meals are delicious and nourishing. The rooms at the Namaste center are beautiful and spacious. The facility does NOT smell of urine or other unwelcome odors. Every staff member knows my name and is genuinely is happy to see me when I come to visit. They care for my dad like they would care for a member of their own family. I feel extremely fortunate to have found Crescent Senior Living Center in Sandy, UT. This facility is everything it claims to be and more. The staff is professional and extremely attentive to all of her needs. In addition to the facility being kept clean and comfortable, it offers almost daily activities for the residents to participate in and fosters a family-like atmosphere. I have been very happy with the Crescent Senior Living Center and the care they have provided my sister. I would strongly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for quality care for a loved one.
