They had one particular high heel that looked like a very interesting piece of artwork although it was a shoe that you could slip your foot into and it had interesting lines that swirled and curved around one's foot almost like a staircase. The owner of the shop was incredibly helpful and friendly and showed me a number of shoes in different colors as well as some changeable shoes based on different pieces of flair you could add onto the top/toe area. I didn't buy anything in particular this day, but I will definitely be back to see what they have next time I'm on the big island!

The jewelry is fake and plastic. She berated my wife and my 8 year old daughter. They felt unsafe and traumatized. My daughter had literally just touched a plastic bracelet and it fell apart The woman tried to get my wife to pay $200 cash to be able to leave. My wife ultimately had to pay $80 on credit card. She was able to get the plastic junk though -- so we have the evidence of what in our opinion, the scam that this place is. Stay far far away.

And she came back. she repeated that to me again, "Well, I didn't get you the small one, but I brought you a medium instead." This was a very oversized sweatshirt, mind you, not something that I could stretch out. She was definitely insinuating that I was too big for the smaller sweatshirt. I'm still in shock that she talked to me like that. Rating three stars because I still found two things that I liked.

The selection is great, but year in and year out, the service gets worse and worse. This time was, the worst it has ever been... The doors were locked even though it was prime open hours (about 4pm). I saw half a dozen customers come to the store and be turned away because the doors were locked. I actually spoke with one the customers, and he said he had been checked the door several times in the past 15 minutes. I called the store, and only then did the girl materialize after about 15 minutes of waiting, and unlock the doors. While in the store, the sales girl made no attempt at helping us with finding product, selecting a size, etc. She made no attempt in any way to be helpful. It was truly amazing. My partner and I could not believe it. This girl was dead inside, and almost ruined a perfect day. I will say that Rip Curl really has to do better and their employee selection. Rip Curl makes wonderful items, and this store is a regular stop for me; they need to find better retail associates. Please! Be warned... Be careful... Parking is great. Store is generally clean, and this day it was full of boxes around the counter.
