They offer a variety of art mediums ranging from painting, sculpting and felting. The instructor brings all the materials and supplies. At the end of the session, you will finish a piece of artwork that you can bring home and the best part is that you don't have to clean up. The artwork looks great and the participants feel successful. They go step by step and you can always ask clarifying questions. Classes sizes usually range from 15-30 people and people sign up fast for it!

Unethical Billing Practices & Transcript Withholding - BEWARE…read more I attended Quincy College years ago and recently requested my transcript for an important career opportunity. To my shock, they are charging me for a summer course I never attended, claiming I was present despite having no records or recollection of ever enrolling. The professor insists I was there, yet I know for a fact I never took the class. Now, Quincy College is refusing to release my transcript, effectively holding my education hostage over a false charge from seven years ago. Instead of helping resolve the issue, they've been dismissive and unhelpful, pushing me to dispute it with a professor rather than addressing their own records. This kind of careless administration and unethical billing is completely unacceptable. If you're considering Quincy College, be extremely cautious--they may charge you for classes you never took and block access to your own academic records. I'll be escalating this to the Attorney General's office and legal action if necessary. No school should operate this way. Avoid Quincy College if you value transparency and fairness.

I also learned while there they had a 'Medical Terminology Course', which would feed my previous Army Medical background and learn more up to date terms for work at a Hospital or similar area. The many weeks I was there; with the absolutely patient, understanding, and very loving and talented 'Friends' made there; I have made my life ; because of Operation ABLE's Staff much more enjoyable; and made money I never dreamed of. The LPN who teaches is very knowledgeable and likes to be hands on. She also makes a note of your career goals and puts graduates in touch with employers. Clinicals take place at Hancock Park. I was a little disappointed that we wouldn't be visiting any hospitals but let's face it-- most of the patients at hospitals are elderly and the equipment is the same. It was confusing signing up because as I learned later there is no administrative office handling calls. Your best bet is to contact the Cambridge branch. I really don't have any negatives other than how hard it was to get someone to call me back and answer my questions. Ten minutes after I took the proficiency test and got 100 I found out college students are exempt. If you have any questions feel free to message me. Otherwise, go ahead and get certified here if you are thinking about nursing or PA programs. It's definitely worth the work experience that you will get and you'll find out quickly if healthcare is right for you.

I'm a disabled veteran and have certain accommodations that I'm learning how to ask for. I was worried it wasn't for me. But they reassured me I belong there and can benefit greatly. Taking the time to listen to someone is rare these days. But it's the difference between someone being just a data point vs a person for a company. Exceptional customer service is an art form. The best make it look effortless. They made a difficult situation disappear over a simple conversation. Kudos!
