I DO NOT recommend Tru Touch. Don tried to build me a custom shower during my home remodel…read more However, he did not tell us he was not competent in tile work so the drain ended up higher than the shower pan (floor), the tile was uneven and he had to cover up a huge gap with a piece metal that he ended up scratching!! He failed to properly waterproof the shower so the grout started to crack in the corners. The floor sloped down causing water to run OUT of the shower into the bathroom area! If this wasn't enough the shower pan didn't slope properly so the water didn't drain right even if it DID make it to the drain. Fast forward 5 months and Don still hasn't fixed any tile work, he does a "3 week" job that lasts close to 3 MONTHS!! During this time he sees the problem with the shower pan and admits it needs to be redone. He orders more tile to redo it. As time goes on he communication as to when he'll come, why he's not showing up to the job etc. texts and calls don't seem to make him show so I have to call DOPL (Department for professional Licensing) to file a complaint and see how they can help. Finally Don says he'll finish the job (YAY!!!!) in the week IF we don't leave a bad review and he's going to let us keep $3,500 that we owe him to put towards a new shower pan. Well seems to me like he screwed us out of a lot-time, money, sanity, TRUST!! Others needs to be warned! We get tile guys in-and find out the WHILE SHOWER needs to be replaced because it was not built right!! We are looking at upwards to $10,000! 2 of the 4 tile contractors say they do not want to take on the mess that Don has made. 3 of them asked us if WE did it ourselves!! Stating it looked like an AMATEUR job! Don will say we are liars, he went above and beyond and gave us extras but that doesn't matter when it comes to quality of your work! We even found out he didn't seal the window before he tiled the shower! He also likes to blame his workers instead of taking ownership for his work. His workers mostly have questionable backgrounds. Day one of our job we had a set of keys go missing! The next day one of his workers brought it back! Don did not EVER admit to doing a faulty job and try to make it right by paying someone who KNEW what they were doing. Conveniently for him his insurance(which he wouldn't give us we had to call DOPL) only covers damages not poor workmanship so in our case we had to wait for the grout to crack more and water to start leaking. He can come in and screw up any job and walk away just like he did with us!! Luckily we now have a $10,000 shower we've paid about $20,000. We are still finding flaws in his work or what he said he did that he never did that we are now redoing Thanks to Tru Touch. Buyer beware!!

This photo is of the finished repair. This was a small repair but because it was custom décor in our shower we needed someone to do the repair who could replicate the pattern before the stones had come loose. Terry from A Jackson Masonry did a perfect job. He was so meticulous and conscientious in making sure the repair was done in the very best manner possible. He did the work in about 5 hours over 2 days. After completing the work on day 1 he came back on day 2 to touch up the joint work and make the job look perfect. On day 2 he was even going to remove the original joint material he used and replace it with a different material because he was concerned that it wasn't as good a material as he thought it should be. We ended up deciding on the original material rather than have him redo that part of the job. That is the level of integrity that Terry has in making sure his work is the best it can possibly be. We recommend A Jackson Masonry and thank Aaron for sending Terry to do this job for us.

Also they completely covered the window in the laundry room with drywall so there is a window on the outside but not the inside! These are just a few things. This company is definitely just out to make a buck and doesn't care about their work or people's forever homes. Go somewhere else if you're building or buying, I would be embarrassed to work for this company.

We contacted the Salisbury warranty department and they said they wouldn't do anything because its out of the one year warranty. This is a workmanship issue and we've had two contractors tells us to replace is up to $12,000. Our insurance company said they will not cover manufacturers workmanship issues. I only joined YELP so I could write a bad review on JT Custom Homes. I wanted to help others avoid…read morethe travesty of the experience I had with Jeremi Tobler. Do not trust him! I can verify all that was said in the previous review. I had the same experience...possibly worse. I am writing this review 2.5 years after he supposedly finished my home. It was a disaster from excavation to landscaping. I had issues with every phase of construction. These were not minor issues. I'm talking foundation, framing, stucco, roof (he ordered the wrong trusses and installed the wrong roof on my house! Cost to repair...over $100k). Tile installed incorrectly everywhere -- 4 different colors of grout in my main living area and 3 different colors in my master bathroom. Master shower was not fixed until 4 months after I moved in. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, concrete, pool.....I have volumes of documentation on all the defects and deceitful billing. I will spend hundreds of thousands of dollars fixing the disaster he left me. He will over bill you for everything! He will bill for work that was not done, product you never received, and work that is so inferior that it is laughable. He uses sub contractors that reputable builders refuse to use because they are so bad. Any reputable sub refuses to work with him. It's been 2.5 years and I am still dealing with his mess. I will spend another hundred thousand dollars on attorney fees to bring him to justice. He knows this and counts on people not having the financial resources and fortitude to go through the legal process. Check out other negative reviews about him and his company. You can find them on Buildzoom.com and at the ST George BBB. All attest to his lack of integrity and gross negligence. I have spoken with a number of other home owners that used Jeremi and all have the same experience. He is currently being sued for fraud and under investigation from the State of Utah. He is so unethical that my bank (Zions Bank) actually "fired" him during the construction of my home due to his deceitful practices with me and at least one other home owner. Zions will no longer do business with Jeremi Tobler. That should tell you a lot. I have done a ton of research preparing for a lawsuit, I have not found a single individual that is happy with Jeremi Tobler and JT Custom Homes. The witness list for my lawsuit is long....and very angry. By the time you read this review Jeremi Tobler will have likely lost his business license and will be lucky if he is not in jail. If you read this before those events happen....run as far away from this guy as you possibly can. If you have had a negative experience with Jeremi....and, I know you have. Jeremi Tobler is a general contractor who is dishonest at best. In the construction of my house he…read moredouble billed several times. When the LVP flooring failed shortly after the installation he refused to handle the issue. I resolved the issue and paid over $6000 in doing so. Jeremi did not complete the house. He left formboards on the foundation. Medicine cabinets were never installed. He forgot to run 220 to the hot water heater. The electricians did $1600 in drywall damage to run the 220 after the fact. Jeremi billed me for drywall damages which I declined to pay. He also billed for installation of the 220 wiring which was already paid for in the electrical bid and should have been done previously. The ceiling drywall was overcut for the speakers which I supplied well in advance of installation. He then had the electricians purchase and install larger speakers to fit the holes in the ceiling, billing me for a new set of speakers. He also double billed for other electrical work. The concrete pads for the AC failed and had to be repoured. He attempted to charge for pouring new concrete pads and resetting the condensers. He did not oversee the concrete work for the driveway and front walkway. The neighbor saw that rebar was not in place as stipulated in the bid. We were able to get the rebar installed by contacting the subcontractor. The front walkway way was to be formed for large platforms not steps. We caught the error and had the forms reset for platform steps. This guy cannot be trusted to do a job right or to completion.

We later had a gate installed and they did not grout the area where the gate mounted to, so I called and the very next morning they were there to fix it. Great work at a reasonable price would definitely recommend them
