Every lunchtime there were wonderful alcoholic snowcones with weird and wonderful names that on the final day included a scrummy hazelnut and cream flavour, wow, just wow. The line was always fun with people entertaining you and spraying with water and sometimes making you earn your fare or get a spanking! Always with a party atmosphere people played on the halfpipe and decorated their "art therapy wall". The party went on into the late evening when the camp served fresh had tossed wood fired pizzas. PIZZA!, In the middle of the desert and way better than a dominos! They had drum bands, fire dancers and DJs keeping people there before the team to a well earned night out on the playa. My advice; go and go again :)

The self serve lines run fast, no idling. But sit, relax and chat over a meal if you like. People tend to keep with their group, it's not that social, and people are exhausted. They are working on sustainability and had compostable bamboo knives, forks, and spoons. Sort your waste outgoing. This little cafeteria is partially powered by solar and batteries! When I finally got a stool, I asked the "guy" on the grill what was good and he shouted through his cigarette "RIBEYE". So I ordered the ribeye special from one of the waitresses with big hair and bright red lipstick. I think her name was Diana Reah or something, I kept asking where my steak was and the cook would just point to the guy next to me. Wha?? I finally got a grilled cheese tossed my way an hour later. Thank dog for the friendly waitresses! And this one gal next to me let me have her pickle! That made my night. I wanted to take a pic, but I lost my phone at the fence.
