Honesty goes a long way with me, and I much appreciated that Jeff and crew did what the bid said they would do. I had a long, rural driveway that I wanted cleared of too-close trees, and an area of tall, big Doug fir trees that could drop on my house in a windstorm. We had Jeff and crew do two separate jobs on our property. One was view trimming and, as previous reviewers have reported, the work was careful, thoughtful and amazing. Where we live is way up along a river so I was surprised to see one of the workers picking up tiny twigs as part of routine clean up. They also cleared out a brushy woody area that had a mix of shrubs and smaller trees. Again, the before and after is astonishing. I had questions about other trees on the property that seemed precarious or were leaning and Jeff was very knowledgable about what seemed okay and what might be a concern in the future. I had a tree trimming job I needed done immediately, and Jeff responded to my inquiry the same day and was out to survey the project the following day. His bid was fair, and he was willing to squeeze me into his tight schedule, as I needed the job done asap. I can't speak highly enough of Jeff and Blue Mtn. He was recommended to me by a long time resident in the area and was every bit as good as the recommendation. Jeff is very knowledgable about local trees and plants and the proper management of wooded property. His crew is expert, courteous, and hard-working. I watched them take down a dozen or more large trees in very close quarters, some quite near to the house. Every tree fell right on the mark. When they left, I had a beautiful stack of rounds to split for firewood, and the lawn and driveway were meticulously raked and blown. They left the place cleaner than when they arrived. We got estimates from a couple of different companies for some tree removal and view trimming. Even from the point of the initial meeting, Jeff was the most professional person that we dealt with. Returns calls and responds to email promptly. He was not the cheapest option, but we are very happy with the results and the fact that he went the extra mile to protect our windows when felling one of the trees.
