They were careful, and efficient, working as a team to complete the project, leaving us with wood for burning and a clean work area. And, he has very competitive rates. Oliver is a man to be trusted. He is honest, and a fine person. His crew has been with him for years because of that. A few days later Matthew arrived right on time with his crew. In addition to the branch removals, tree shaping and trimming, Matthew took the time to replace an old cable on our biggest locust that he saw was cutting into the bark with a superior cabling system. He and his crew were all so helpful, pleasant, and respectful of the yard and garden. We needed a patch of large roots removed. It was extensive and had spread out from a neighbor's…read morevery large pine tree into our yard under the fence. The roots were exposed above the ground and a lot underground. Dan came by and gave us a reasonable estimate. We weren't in a hurry and he said he would find an available time in the near future. He showed up a few weeks later. We did not have to call him again like we have had to do with many contractors who promise and then never show. He and his helper got the big root grinder off his trailer and started the nasty, dusty job. He spoke with me before he started going over exactly what we wanted and he made suggestions which we agreed to. Then he did exactly what we agreed to. He used protective boards to avoid sending rock and/or pieces of roots in to our house, fence, or shrubs. They cleaned up the pieces including the rocks that we have in our yard all over. He only asked for the agreed estimated price. Dan and his helper were both friendly and professional. We would certainly recommend his service to others and we would have him do any tree service we might need in the future.
