Great day with Amy on the small group tour! She was right on time for the pickup, really accommodating with dietary restrictions at breakfast, and just so fun to spend the day with. The different stops at the Blue Mountains were excellent, as well as scenic world. I cannot say enough good things about the experience they provided was amazing, from kangaroo feeding to pictures with koalas.

Absolutely LOVED this tour! We couldn't have picked a better day tour with an awesome tour guide. My husband and I refused to come to Australia and not see its native wildlife such as Koala Bears, Kangaroos, Kookaburras, Wombats, Dingos, and more. We looked into what was the best option to be able to experience this opportunity and found the Blue Mountain Day Tour (Glenbrook). We booked through our hotel concierge which made it easy and hassle free. The tour was an amazing experience! The activities that we did while on the tour are as follows: 1) had breakfast with the kangaroos, 2) visited the Scenic World Blue Mountains Australia, 3) had lunch at Ivanhoe Hotel, 4) visited more Australian wildlife at Featherdale Wildlife Park, 5) small cruise ride back to either Circular Quay or Darling Harbour. Our tour guide, Sean, was amazing, super accommodating and very knowledgeable. There are plenty of different day tours that you can take. The duration of the tours ranges based on the tour and the tour company. They range from 6 hours to 10-12 hours. Hence the name "Day Tour", these tours will take up one full day during your visit to Australia. Therefore, I would highly suggest that you plan ahead and know what you want to do and see. If not, you can risk either having to miss out on another activity or missing out on this tour all together. We picked this tour which was 12 hours. We were picked up from our hotel at 6:15 AM and we were dropped back off by boat to Darling Harbour at 6:30 PM. We happened to be the first pick-up so that is why it was so early for us. Depending on where you are staying your pick-up time will vary. Sean, our tour guide, picked us up on time. We were told to be down in the lobby by 6:10 AM for his arrival at 6:15 AM, and sure enough at 6:15 AM on the dot he was outside. They pick each person or couple up from their hotel. This is a small tour group so there wont be more than about 15-20 ppl in your group. You get back to your hotel by a boat ride. The cruise option is the only way back. The only two drop-off locations are Darling Harbour and Circular Quay. If you aren't staying at a hotel at either location or near by, you will need to find transportation back to your hotel.

Chapman Tours is the absolute best company if you're visiting the Blue Mountains. I researched so many tour groups and I'm so glad I chose Chapman Tours. El Chapo the owner responds to text messages in WhatsApp. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast and lunch were provided. All the rides were included in the price as was entrance to Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park. This tour company was slightly more expensive than other tour but it was worth it!!! Please do yourself a favor and choose Chapman Tours if you are visiting the Blue Mountains. read more

Don't be put off by the early start, as there are huge advantages to the tour getting to the attractions early. The breakfast you get on the way is fantastic and every effort is made to ensure you are looked after. Our tour Guide was Sean and his local knowledge was exceptional and very professional Back to the early start, because we were at the Scenic Cablecar and the steepest train at opening, we missed all the crowds and had a nice walk through the forest. The lunch was great and filling, before you go on to the wildlife park. You get to meet some of Australia's lovely animals, in a safe area for them. The tour is managed very well and they go the extra mile to make sure you have a great day. read more

Book it! Highly recommended. I took a Blue Mountain tour with Ella. She was an extremely personable and knowledgeable tour guide. I really enjoyed the local touches that she put on the tour ie stopping for coffee and lunch at local eateries and visiting a local zoo. The scenery throughout the Blue Mountains was beautiful. read more

We highly recommend Chapman Tours for exploring the Blue Mountains, and for having an outstanding Australian Experience. Every detail from start to finish was fully planned out, and executed according to the itinerary. Chapo himself was our guide, and delivered a personable experience. His passion for providing his guests a top notch experience was palpable, we had a great day. Strongly recommend looking into Chapman Tours for an amazing Australian adventure! read more

Our Blue Mountain Day Tour outside of Sydney was amazing. We were picked up at a local hotel (not far from where we were staying) and proceeded about 45 minutes outside of the city and had a delightful and delicious breakfast. From there we made our way into the Blue Mountains and experienced an awesome time exploring the natural wonders of the area and were treated to rail and aerial "rides" to get us up and down from the mountains. From there we visited Featherdale wildlife animal reserve and were able to see (and touch) many indigenous animals of the region. We also had a delicious lunch with our group. Both meals included in the tour. Our tour guide, Amy, was so friendly, professional, engaging and funny. She promised we would be back in the city by mid-afternoon and her promise was kept. Highly recommend this tour. read more

We spent an amazing two days with Chapo and Sean. Chapo did not have a van available for a private tour for my family of six but instead he put us in his 21 passenger van and we still had a private tour. When I originally looked at the dates that I wanted to do our tours, only one of the dates was available. I contacted Chapo and he got right back to me and rearranged it so we could do the tours that we wanted. We were only going to be in Sydney for two more days and he made sure that we had two days of incredible experiences. The first day, we did the Blue Mountain tour with Sean in the 21 passenger van. The second day we did the Hunter Valley winery region with Chapo. He made sure to pick up the trip himself so that he could meet us and spend the day with us. Sean knew we really wanted to see kangaroos in the wild and took a little detour off the main road and we got to see several of them. Sean grew up in the Blue Mountain region, so he was very familiar and very knowledgeable about all of the places that he took us. One of the many great things about doing a tour with Blue Mountain tours is that it can be customized to things that you want to do and your schedule. If you want to spend a little extra time somewhere, it's not a problem. We stopped somewhere for breakfast, which was delicious and then the place that we went for lunch was equally as good. The nice thing about the tour is that everything was included and we didn't have to pay extra for this and that and every little thing that we wanted to do. read more

We had a wonderful day in the Blue Mountains on this tour! The place we stopped for breakfast was nice and the food delicious. We loved the beautiful views of the Three Sisters and Blue Mountains and really enjoyed our time at Scenic World. Our tour guide Amy was great! Very knowledgeable, funny and friendly. Of course the highlight of the trip was being able to pet a koala and have our picture taken with him at Featherdale. I would definitely recommend this tour, it's well worth the money! read more
Excellent tour that picks you up from your Sydney Hotel and delivers you to the pristine beauty of the Blue Mountains. The whole day tour starts around 7 am and gets you back by ferry boat around 6 pm. Stops include a short hike to see kangaroos, a picnic style breakfast, a drive up to the top of Blue Mountains for a breathtaking view (the bush fire smoke gave us a respite), lunch, a gondola ride down the mountain and a trip to the Wildlife Reserve. Our guide Hayden was extremely knowledgeable and friendly - he easily fired off knowledge on local wildlife, trees, culture, you name it. Was a very wonderful trip during a very challenging time in Australia. We were happy to support the local economy. read more

Best Blue Mountain Tour Best tour! We took this tour on the second day of our visit to Sydney. We were visiting Sydney to celebrate my husband's birthday and this tour was the highlight of our trip! This is a small family run business. Price is comparable to other big companies, but here you get a very personable experience. We visited during the wild fires and while the tour includes breakfast with kangaroos in the wild, things had to be adjusted because of the fire. As promised we did find kangaroos thanks to our amazing tour guide, Hayden. We were able to get up as close as about 50 feet. We actually got off the bus and walked in the bush. It was amazing! In fact I think finding the kangaroos in the bush was even better than actually eating with kangaroos as I may have just run out of time to eat breakfast being distracted by all the kangaroos around us. Who wants to eat breakfast and miss the opportunity to get up and close with kangaroos, right? How often does one get to experience that. The day continued perfectly on schedule. The next stop was a short drive to a park for breakfast. Breakfast was simple but very welcomed considering most guess probably didn't eat before meeting the bus between 6:15am- 6:50 am. The best part about breakfast was that it was prepared with heart. Graham, the owner and his son were waiting for us at the picnic area with hot coffee, tea, ham and biscuits, and fresh fruit. They personally served us, conversed with us to get to know us. How many business owners take time to cook the guest breakfast and personally serve it just for an opportunity to meet the guests. And they run this tour everyday. Amazing! It was a pleasure to finally meet Graham in person after conversing via email over several months leading up to our tour. Considering the wild fires, the day was pretty clear and we had a great view of the Three Sisters up in the Blue Mountains. Hayden escorted us through scenic world and gave personal commentary of the birds in the area, native plants and moved us through the park within a reasonable pace keeping with schedule. The heartfelt compassion to continue to be supportive of the community and small businesses during this time of hardship for many because of the wild fires is also another reason to choose this tour. Lunch is included in this tour package and usually with a local small business. Because of the wild fires, it was uncertain if we could have lunch at this place or not. While a back up plan was available, Hayden communicated with the restaurant along the way making sure the area was safe and open for business. He told us he was trying to keep with the plan to have lunch at this place because the food is good and it's always nice to continue to support the local small businesses. Lucky for us, the restaurant was open. The area was a bit smokier, and Hayden kept us on schedule as to not stay in the area too long for health reasons. While here we saw about 20 firefighters having lunch and you could sense the community support. Lunch offered a variety of choices that we pre-selected on the bus prior to arriving. I ordered the grilled barramundi. Of our entire trip , this place had the best tasting grilled barramundi! As the tour was coming to an end, Featherdale was our last stop before boarding the ferry back to Sydney. Another surprise treat! While the stop was short, about 45 minutes. I recommend at least 2 hours here as there is a lot of opportunity for interacting with the animals here. The highlight was feeding the wallabies. The wallabies were all around the park. The next best part of this park was getting up close to the koalas. In the koala area you are able to get face to face with a koala and take some amazing pictures. For a nominal fee of $25 for up to 4 people, you get to pat a koala and take a picture. They even offer to use your phone to help you take a picture too. As we got back on the bus, Hayden greeted us with a Featherdale shopping bag filled with a small stuffed koala and a clip koala. This was a very nice thoughtful gesture of a souvenir and a nice surprise as no where did I read we'd also receive a souvenir. It's not about the monetary value of it, and read this and think you're getting something big for free. It's about the gesture and having a souvenir that Graham as a business owner wanted to include in the tour. The ferry ride back to Sydney was nice. You are able to get nice views of the Harbour, Sydney Opera House, and Harbour bridge. I highly recommend anyone wanting to tour the Blue Mountains to do your own research as I did, but come back and book this tour. You're going to get a personable, amazing, memorable experience in a smaller group setting. Something that isn't offered with many of the larger tour companies. And the best part, this is the only tour that offers breakfast with kangaroos. Seeing the kangaroos in the wild is a must! read more

Very nice experience, we took on some back roads where Kangaroos are usual, we took some pictures and videos. Then we move to have breakfast and we are able to enjoy the nature of birds from the forest. Later we went to a blue mountain, having lunch, went to a zoo to see more Kangaroos, Koalas, and other wild animals and finally we return to Sydney in a boat. In general, the staff was very kind and attent providing a first-class service to all present customers. I highly recommend this tour, it was very nice, interesting and fun. read more

From the moment we were picked up at our hotel until the minute we were dropped off back at our hotel this was one of the greatest adventures my wife and I have every enjoyed!!! First off we had a smaller group of folks 6 to be exact, Chapo made us all welcomed and set the expectations for the day clear and right up front. The drive up to the blue mountains he shared with us his passion for the history of his country which in turn made us enjoy and learn so much about Australia. Then we made our first stop and I wish I could remember the name of the place, but we had the best cup of coffee I have had in such a long time. The breakfast was absolutely delicious to boot. Then we went to the blue mountains and visited the legendary 3 sisters. We got to see them at 5 different angles. Another great adventure as I had to fight my fear of heights. We then made our way to the zoo, which was what my wife wanted to go to the most so she can pet the koalas and kangaroos. Oh I forgot he took us to find wild kangaroos as well. I just cannot tell you all how much fun and all the things we did during this wonderful day of adventure. I am running out of space so I will definitely recommend this tour to everyone who love a good adventure. read more

Highly recommended. The guide was a Blue Mountain local who was able to tell us all about the area. The bus was smaller than most, so the group size was much more manageable and we were able to access areas not available to many tour busses. We saw some beautiful views and a lot of great wildlife, made some friends, and everything was taken care of and moved seamlessly even in the midst (or, more accurately, mist) of some rather damp weather. Also, you get to go to a wildlife park and feed/pet/hang out with some kangaroos and wallabies, which was definitely a highlight. It might sound a little touristy, but I don't care. It was super fun. read more

I would like to thank Mick for the most amazing tour of the Blue Mountains and Wildlife Park. His witness to be accommodating and helpful for the whole trip was greatly appreciated. Like others have said, he adjusted our schedule to assure we had the best experience possible. Mick was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly the whole trip, from picking us up to dropping us off. The site seeing and experiences the various attractions was well worth the cost of the tour. Each stop was an eye opening and refreshing. The interacting with kangaroos, photo with the Kola and seeing the other native animals at the wildlife park was a highlight and the same can be said about the breakfast and tour in Blue Mountains (Three Sisters). If you get a chance, I would highly recommend you take this tour and if possible, ask for Mick. The group size made the trip even more enjoyable. read more
