The food came quickly, and was of good quality. The delivery man was very friendly and the meal was still piping hot when it got to our door. You could tell the meals were freshly cooked with fresh veg and the meat was not fatty and well cooked. Even though this place is not quite as good as the garam masala, Considering the price (quite a bit cheaper!!) we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavour. We have only tried one Indian takeaway in hazel grove so far, but we would be happy to make this our local !!

Five of us from work were treated here for dinner where we started with a large flatbread hanging from a hook, and starter plates that were fantastic offering various meats and sauces, which were packed with flavor and spices just what I was looking for. When did up splitting various entrées of lamb, chicken, veggies with peppers and onions, multiple choices of rice, which were all fantastic, just a plethora of food that filled us to the brim, and they even gave us plenty to take to a colleague who is stuck in meetings. We both liked it. Breads are served on what bf described as 'an abattoir for naans' i.e. a giant upright skewer type contraption. Unless you get a peshwari in which case you don't get to play (somebody was disappointed). Not somewhere on the Jaipur Palace level that I'd urge travel to, but one of the best restaurants in Poynton.

We popped in for a menu and perused it in the local pub before deciding to dine. The place was completely empty we were the only ones in there throughout our whole meal. It was a Sunday during the World Cup mind so I didn't let this put us off. The food is nothing like Indian Tiffin Room, let me just put that out there. This is more traditional Bangladesh cooking and boy do they do it well. We started with madhu malai chicken starter and some onion bhajis. The chicken had been moistened by the yogurt and the bhajis were lovely... and there were loads of them! For mains we went for the mixed grill (which was huge!) the lamb stir fry and the podina chicken with a couple of portions of rice. The amount of which arrived was pretty obscene and we left loads because we were totally stuffed. The food was prepared beautifully and serve was with a smile at all times. We had a good chat with the owner who said he owned the Spice Tower in Marple and this was a new venture for him. You can't buy alcohol at Humaira's Tiffin but there is no corkage charge when you bring your own. Our meal came to £40 with 20% off due to it being a Sunday. Our leftovers were packed up for us to take home with no fuss ready for lunch the next day. I can't wait to go back, in fact, they deliver to my parent's house.
