The service here was mega efficient, almost too fast, and the staff are very nice and willing to help you out with recommendations. The environment is nice too, comfortable booths and there's a large event space upstairs.
The menu is extensive and includes all the classic Indian dishes as well as a wide selection of fish but we both tried balti dishes which seems to be a house speciality. I had the Balti Akbori which was nice but a bit too sweet for me. My Poynton-based person of interest had the Balti exotica which contains many different types of meat, so many that he said that if this was 100 years ago, only a literal king would have such a diet.
Worth a go but we probably won't rush back right away. It's very popular with others though. read more
