I hired Jeff's to do landscaping when the fill around my foundation was washing away. The job was…read moreso poor that I had to hire a second company to redo it. Jeff's put sand in the eroded areas, which began washing away with the first rain. The fabric under the rocks was such poor quality that before long I had weeds growing right through it all over the project. They installed a water catcher with a popup drain. It never worked. I told Jeff I thought it was broken. He looked at it but said that's how they work. The second company told me the drain was broken. They fixed it. The job was horrible. Then to add insult to injury, they said to fix it would cost roughly six times what they had originally quoted. Was this a bait and switch? The company that did fix the landscaping and did a very nice job charged me less than one-third of what Jeff's second bid was. Finally, Jeff said he would refund my money if he could have the drain back. I said fine, just be sure to leave the new landscaping in the same condition it was before you removed the drain. That was a year ago. I have sent Jeff's many emails since. He doesn't even respond. As you can imagine, I never got my money back. The company that did a very nice job of repairing everything Jeff's didn't do told me that among landscapers, Jeff's has a very poor reputation. The only good thing I have to say about Jeff's Landscaping is that the men who did the work were very diligent, friendly, and hardworking. Jeff's has great people working for him but he doesn't send out the appropriate materials to get the job done, and he doesn't know what he's doing when he quotes, apparently.
