Mike spent months "sweet-talking" me and lying that he had all the documents and that everything was fine. It was all a cover for his team's absolute lack of organization and knowledge. Product Dishonesty: I asked Mike from the beginning if he could handle a specific city grant loan. He lied and said yes. In reality, he didn't even start looking into the grant requirements until one week before closing. Uncertified & Unprepared: His team wasn't even certified for this loan type. We had to wait for them to take a class and get credentials just to log in to the city website--all while I was already in escrow. Unprofessional Ghosting: Once things went south, Mike stopped returning my calls. He even blocked my realtor's phone number so he wouldn't have to answer for his mistakes. My realtor was forced to do his team's job just to try and save the deal. Discrimination: I was told Mike complained he wasn't "making any profit" on my file. I felt completely discriminated against for being a low-income borrower. The city even messaged about how poorly the file was being handled.
