Throughout the whole buying process, they explicitly told us that they would be able to deliver the house and put a/c in no problem even though we weren't going to have electricity or water right away (my elderly dad was doing that part for us so it was going take a min.) Then they said, no, we have to have electrical. Got that done. Then they needed everything done. Fine, thats done too. Now, all of a sudden, no one will contact me back. And of course the only people who you can get ahold of are the sales people there and of course this "Isn't their department." For the record, they were great during the sale. They actually got us into the house. But that doesn't really matter if I'm paying for a house I can't even move into yet. It's not even just the a/c, there are multiple things that need to be fixed. We need a totally new shower because when you turn it on, it sprays everywhere and the door doesn't even fit on it. The front porch needs to be fixed. Just several things need to be fixed before I can sign off on a final walk through. And, everyone who says they will call back, doesn't. Let's see if the GM actually calls back today like she said she would. Funny thing is, one of the ladies there warmed me about their service department kind of jokingly. But of course she said this right after I finished signing all my documents. So, if for no other reason, I would avoid this place at all costs strictly because of the service department and the fact that the sales department will dismiss any service department issues because its not their department.

My husband was diagnosed with cancer last year, and the necessary surgery and…read more recovery caused him to be laid off from his job. We were forced to sell our existing house and to downsize. Titan Factory Direct seemed like a Godsend when we first started the for a manufactured home in a new small community, but then followed a series of delays: the place was not ready when they said it would be, and constant miscommunication and mixed messages on what to expect, when to expect it and what was really going on. This caused a delay of well over a month in itself - and much of that time we were forced to live in a hotel, since our previous house was already sold, and our new place was not ready. Our realtor became concerned regarding the delays, and partially funded our hotel bill out of his pocket. I would also cite a lack of communication with the lender, more delays in completing the new place, skirting not done on the outside of the trailer still, not leveled to where all doors closed properly. Worst of all, when the trailer was moved out here, there was a water leak due to when it was placed! The water is still off, so we have no running water, which is a health hazard. That has been the situation for 2 weeks now. Compounding the difficulty, is that when we call the local company our call usually goes directly to voicemail, which isn't answered. It feels to us as if we're being ignored by local Titan management. We still don't know when we'll have running water again, or when the other problems will be addressed satisfactorily. If you have the option to choose Titan Factory Direct, and work through the San Antonio office at 1950 SW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78227, I hope that you have a much better experience and better outcome that what ours has been.
