These guys are awesome. Tons of design help and many good ideas. They pretty much think of everything. They fabricated these great little no-slip/storage strips to go on the dash. They are awesome additions that I can use for.even more than what I was hoping for. As for the SeaDek product, amazing. I wish I had done this years ago. It's more comfortable to fish on, I have less fatigue in my feet and legs after a day bouncing around on the ocean and it cleans easier than my old deck. I wish I could do negative stars for this company. I had my boat started on the project with SeaDek and VeeJay marine in Pittsburgh California. When I dropped off my boat, they told me it was gonna be anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. I had a 23 super air Nautique with carpet flooring and wanted to install what I thought was a good product in SeaDek. 4 1/2 months later I have my boat with missing parts and a box of bolts and brackets that they don't know where it goes to. I had to have my boat scanned over and over again to get the proper sizes for the SeaDek and when I finally got it installed the material isn't any better than what I got from Amazon previously before this mess of a project. I've shared my frustrations week after week after week and got a email back from the CEO that told me that the Project Manager that's working with the guy from Pittsburgh Marina that's doing my Boat will contact me which that never happened. it's so frustrating that this company's been around for a while and this is how they treat their customers. With all the complaining and all the time that they had my boat, they gave it back to me with the bow area not even completed like everything else on a boat as far as filling in the gaps for SeaDek to look nice. Again I don't know How this company still business with a crappy work that they do. Maybe they should go around to other fabrication companies that work on the boats for them to see how unprofessional the work is. I will never recommend this product or these fabrication companies to work on anybody's boat unless you want to spend your winter taking your boat apart and figure it out where these parts go to that you'll go home with when you pick up your boat. We had issues with lack of communication and installed 3 months later than quoted but the job is complete and it looks great.

Being from back East I used to ride a lot of boats that had SeaDek including my old boat. Great, great product! Cleans easy, comfy and last longer than traditional non-skid. I moved to California sold my old boat and purchased a new one. I was disappointed there wasn't a SeaDek installer in California to do my new boat. A few years later I found Blue Seas had just opened as a custom SeaDek installer. I had them do my boat and they did an incredible job. Ken was detailed oriented and everything was delivered/installed on time and met my expectations. Great job SeaDek is really a good product. read more

I have a 2010 Bayliner 185 that does double duty as a family boat and a fishing boat. The glued down carpeting on deck was awful, a fish blood magnet. Blue Seas to the rescue! Beautiful and affordable custom interior made with great care. Sea Dek is the real deal - soft, cool, grippy, easy to clean, and great looking. One of the reasons why I bought my boat was for my family and especially my new son. He's about 1 year and a half and I can't wait to take him on adventures. With that said, he stumbles a lot and on the hard deck of my parker 2320, I knew he would scratch up his knees. I heard some reviews about Seadek and it led me to Blue Seas Fabrication. I made a call and was greeted by a gentleman named Ken who was extremely courteous and kind about helping me answer all my questions as well as pointed out other highlights of Seadek. I was sold on the comfort and style. As soon as we decided to move forward I trailed my boat down and they used some type of laser tool to get exact measurements. Install was just a few days later and got my boat back same day. Heres the best part. Took it home, brought my son on the boat, he ran around and FELL....and not a single scratch. He got up like nothing happened and that made all the difference in the world for me. Family is always first. I then fished it a few times over at Catalina Island for sea bass and was concerned with "squid ink" and fish blood staining my deck, however, there was little to no effort in the cleaning when i got back and everything came off easily. I am super excited and pleased with Blue Seas work with my Parker 2320. Such a pleasure to work with. Only regret is that I wish I would have gotten it sooner. Check out attached pics! read more

Do not deal with this business. Ken is impossible to deal with and not a man of his word.He starts off great but soon turns and is not a reliable business.I paid for my boat to have sea deck flooring installed, when boat manufacturer couldn't fix problems with my new boat I had to cancel order with Ken. The only thing Ken did was photograph boat took him 2 hrs,according to boat manufacturer,I paid over a thousand dollars all Ken was willing to return was $460.00 said the rest was for his time.Very arrogant and ignorant person asked 3 other seadek certified installers what they would charge for work Ken did the 3 other installers ranged from $200 to $250 dollars. read more
