The roasted potatoes were quite good. Our roasted parsnips we're overdone and quite flaccid. The mixed veg of carrots, broccoli and kale were steamed to just done, thankfully, but were not seasoned at all. Hard pass.

The outdoor area allows you access to this view, although I would add that you do have to put up with a busy road also. The drinks are priced quite well and the bar staff are friendly. I did have a terrible pint in there once, but, in what I thought was a touching gesture, I got my next drink for half price. I now think of that particular manager as a modern day Mother Theresa.

It was only until that night in the Feral Cat that I realised two things were broken: my marriage and me. I had an epiphany that night. No more was I going to be broken. Your standard Little Chef with predictable food which is expensive and boring. The only thing that…read moremakes this place different is that some of the staff have been there a long time even before it was a Little Chef and they are very friendly and welcoming. So if you have to stop at a Little Chef the atmosphere in this one is better than most but can't really recommend it for the food or the prices. There is also a Burger King adjoining so if the kids prefer to have a Happy Meal they can get one and eat it with you. The Little Chef staff are very good however and often give the children Burger King toys even if we have had a Little Chef meal.
