I've been to a LOT of laundromats in my years. This is a great clean location! New dryers and washers and clean restrooms. No scary dark spaces or old flickering lights. Plenty of seating and laundry carts for your convenience. Snack and drink machines, ATM and big screen TVs to help alleviate the washer room boredom. Seems slow during the day for a Friday. Bet the weekends are packed! read more

I always come here and get right out the reason I come. However I don't like taking my clothes out the washers and they fall straight on the ground, because of the blockage from the baskets to the washer. It's usually very clean here. And the coin machine breaks bills an give u coins an bills back. read more

Im from California and ive been to cheaper and BETTER WORKING laundromats that cost me 2 bucks to wash for 35-40 minutes and a dollar for an hour dry time. 6.25 for a normal home sized washer. 1st time here. Place is very clean but no attendant on duty. The 1st washer I attempted to use when dropping quarters in it would stop at $2.00 and when I tried to eject the quarters it wouldn't. Nothing posted on their bulletin boards to call someone if you are having a problem. Definitely needs an attendant on duty for such things. There are vending machines for washing supplies, sodas and snacks. read more

February 22, 2022 one of the hottest days and there is no air conditioning on in the laundromat at all. On top of that, there are no ceiling fans and the phone number is no longer in service. I sure hope they get the Air conditioner serviced. Not impressed today. read more

I'm writing my review if the Blue Star Laundromat locates on Dorchester near Ashley Phosphate! The place is spotless and expertly managed. My daughter and I took her queen size comforter in for cleaning. We were greeted with an enthusiastic and warm welcome by the woman managing the place. She told us to come back in about an hour to pick up our item! Price was great and service outstanding! We returned in just over an hour to a fresh, clean, warm comforter. I was a little reluctant to return to this business just due to all of the dryers lint screen boxes being locked & the "no vaccum error" in every dryer I used.. (dryer won't run unless the lint box was cleaned. Seemed ridiculous to me to not allow customers to open and clean out especially when there was only one associate and it was busy.) however, I wanted to recognize their employee "Mike". He went above and beyond when he did not have to in such an establishment! Not only did he give friendly compassionate conversation, he also asked me which dryers I had swapped my clothes in and out of (I lost a few dollars from the error and he had to clean out the lint) and he immediately went to the back and refunded me the few dollars I lost. This laundromat has nice newer washers and dryers. The place is air conditioned, there are two restrooms. Also there is an attendant on site, one large new snack vending machine, a Coca Cola vending machine, a laundry, bleach, etc vending machine, and several arcade style games to play while you wait for your Clothes to dry.
