Food: 10/10 I was there for a party so it was a prefix menu but I had the mumba chicken wings and crab cakes as my app. With the beef short ribs and general tso shrimp as my entrees. I've never heard of general tso shrimp but OMG!! So crispy! Everything was fresh. Just BOMB! Service: 10/10 Jeffrey was our server and he was HILARIOUS, omg. We asked for a drink menu but he was generous enough to offer us some recommendations based off of the type of liquor we liked (tequila for me). On July 28, 2026, I visited Blue Sunday Bar and Grill with a close friend, and I have to say this is officially my favorite happy hour spot so far! One of the biggest perks is that it's located in an area with plenty of parking, so finding a spot was incredibly easy. The service was amazing from start to finish, and the restaurant itself has a very modern, inviting atmosphere. I even loved that the bar stools had cushioned backs, which made sitting there much more comfortable. Now for the food--the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were absolutely AMAZING! They were hands down my favorite item. The rock shrimp was just as delicious, and the Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful. Every dish we tried was a hit. I can't wait to come back for another happy hour. If you're looking for great food, excellent service, easy parking, and a modern atmosphere, I highly recommend checking this place out! read more

This was a great Asian fusion happy hour spot. I tried making a reservation online for 10 people at 6 PM on a Friday but the website said nothing was available. However, when I called the restaurant they were able to accommodate my party, just something to keep in mine. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived but by the time we left at 8 PM it was jam packed. The one thing I really loved about this restaurant is that happy hour isn't limited to just bar seating. You can order happy hour at normal tabletops and its until 7 PM! Our waiter Rich did a last minute call at 6:57 PM which our party appreciated. We ordered a ton of appetizers to share and everyone ordered drinks plus their own entrees. Due to the happy hours prices the bill after tax and tip came out to $60/pp which I felt was a steal for the amount of food/drinks we got. The beef nan and crab cake bruschetta were some of our favorite appetizers. The fries here are like if curly fries and steak fries had a baby and I loved them. All the food came out promptly and anything that was fried you could tell just came straight out of the frier. All the seafood was cooked to the perfect temperature and was still very tender. The place has a decent ambiance if you're OUTSIDE. Inside was packed and extremely loud. The servers were all great and friendly. If you're going to go. Make a note to go when it isn't packed to the brim. You will be waiting a long time. The drinks were strong but delicious , the food on the other hand .....eh it was ok. My friend ordered a steak and my other friend and I both asked for burgers. Medium and medium rare. All 3 were well down. It was terrible but we were pressed for time and I wasn't going into wait. The price for 6 people came out to $345 not bad but could be better given they didn't cook our food correctly ! 3.5 stars, but I didn't go in with the highest expectations... but the food definitely proved me wrong. We went on a Friday night and were quoted about an hour wait. The host said it would probably be less, but nope -- we waited the full hour. Not the best start. Once we were finally seated though, service picked up quickly. They brought water and complimentary chips to the table (still confused about the chips, but okay ), and we ordered two cocktails to start. For appetizers, we kept it simple with fries and a roll -- both were solid, no complaints there. For my entree, I had the creamy garlic shrimp and it was actually so good. Super flavorful and cooked perfectly. My only critique is that it came with rice, and I really wish it had been served with mashed potatoes instead. Mashed potatoes would've paired so much better with the shrimp and asparagus. That combo just makes more sense. Overall, really good food and service. Also, beware, it gets loud. Came in on a Saturday night for an early dinner and the ambiance was amazing. 10/10 for decor and the whole restaurant was very spacious. They had a partial closed off area for more intimate events which I thought was a really nice touch. Service was on point! We were never left wondering where our server was and our server Angie was very attentive. I ordered the Ghosted Heart drink which was delicious without being overly sweet. I almost missed the gin but it was definitely a refreshing drink. We also ordered the wings with the mambo sauce which were divine. Not a single part of those wings was missing sauce. I have visited only once but simply loved everything, and definitely planning to visit more often. They have a selective Menu but it covered different cuisines so it feels like there are more options. All the items we ordered tasted great, with right amount of spice. I loved the Gumbo, and the Vanilla Crepe was too good. Price is a little on the high side but quite reasonable considering the quality of food, presentation, and the ambience. All day happy hour on Sunday? Sign me up! I've visited twice before but it was my first time for happy hour. I ordered two cocktails and a sushi roll all for around $30. What a steal! I also love the service and music at Blue Sunday. You have to catch one of their themed events whether it's R&B night or jazz night. And you definitely have to try their crab dip...so good! The linden location has indoor and outdoor dining plus a parking lot with free parking. It does get busy on the weekend and closer to dinner time but just make sure you make a reservation and you'll be good! read more

The wings were mid. Not terrible. Not memorable. They showed up, did a shift, and clocked out. No crisp revelation. No saucy breakthrough. Just a very regular plate of wings that never quite found a personality. The fries were also mid. Salty in that sneaky way where every bite makes you pause and go, wait, why is this salt coming from a hidden compartment? Like somebody in the kitchen lost a bet with the shaker. They were fine enough to eat, but not nearly exciting enough to justify the sodium plot twist. The beef on hummus was decent and probably the strongest thing I had. Good enough to keep things moving. A little more grounded. A little more satisfying. Nothing that had me rewriting my life plans, but definitely the plate with the most going for it. Overall, the food was decent, but everything leaned extra salty and kind of gave elevated fast food with better lighting. Not awful. Just not landing in a way that felt especially worth the hype or the price. More like if a casual chain restaurant put on a blazer and told you it was doing something special. Service was great though. Attentive. Friendly. Actually on it. The staff did a lot to keep the experience from slipping, and that matters. You felt taken care of even if the food was doing the most with the seasoning. The bathrooms were also clean, which I always notice, and the vibe was good. That part I will absolutely give them. My family and I ate here on a Saturday night for supper. We all ordered different things and were not disappointed. We started with the Mt Fuji roll and the Mexican Style Corn Dip. I now understand how you can make a roll a full on meal. The corn dip was so good too! My husband ordered a steak and it was good. I ordered the salmon and it was OK. I wouldn't order it again. Love when we can ask the server for recommendations and they actually have had the things on the menu. We started out with the wings in mumbo sauce. And two drinks; peach fizz and crimson peach. Delicious. That mumbo sauce. They knew what they were doing. My entree was the lobster and scallop medley w/ white rice. The seafood was cooked perfectly but the sauce they put over top was a tad over salted. My friend ordered the lamb chops w/ fried rice. He sent the lamb chops back to be cooked slightly more and they came out super tender. He was thoroughly satisfied. I wish this place offered a pasta dish as a side instead of 2 rice dishes.
