"Polish Happy Meal" (great name geared towards us Americans, huh?) - killer.  A hearty (sliced) link of kielbasa with three (delicious) pierogi with little containers of horseradish & shredded beets (along with a slice of rye bread) and a side (of course we went with their [homemade] pickles). The Mrs. (from Gdańsk and snooty about her Polish grub) was deliriously giddy with her meal and deemed it, "5 stars!" - who am I to argue?! "Apple Pie-rogi" (I'm definitely digging their marketing department!) - although they recommend to fry in butter (the only way the Poles believe a pierogi can be cooked!) I opted to just bake them without any added fat (much to the chagrin of the Mrs.) but it was still a perfectly delicious morsel. The joint is wheelie small (sorry, I couldn't help myself) - just a tiny window to "grab 'n go" from the workers. Crew behind the sliding glass window - very cool. Food is great - delicious chicken and ribs, and this time we tried the salmon, which was also very well prepared (albeit not as bountiful as the chicken and ribs), and the sides are great too. By default, the sides are usually rice or fries, but we ordered vegetables the last time, and it was also really good. They also offered and served a garlic sauce to go with the meal, which was really tasty - an oil-based sauce with minced garlic in it. From the outside, it didn't look like anything special or a place to rave about but I quickly learned why it was all the talk with them. Since it was a Saturday night, they had a nice crowd and the place itself had a feel of both a sports bar and a brew pub. The one side was more of a sports bar type of feel (or setup) and the other half had more of a brew pub type of feel. After looking at the menu, I decided to go with the healthier choice so I ordered the Drunken Parm Sandwich. I wish I took a picture of the sandwich when it came out because it looked very good and like it was made fresh. Almost immediately, the server came over to me to let me know that they made me real chicken rather than the vegetarian chicken and said she would take it back for the vegetarian chicken. I opted to keep it since I knew there was a chance it would probably get thrown out. I took one bite of the sandwich and I have to say, it was one of the BEST chicken parm sandwiches I've ever had. It was piping hot and tasted fresh. From the chicken, to the sauce, to the bun, it all tasted fresh and practically melted in my mouth. It was a little on the salty side but aside from that, it was made to perfection. To top the night, as we were paying the bill, our server Maya (who was very friendly and tentative during our visit) handed me a take out container with the veggie chicken parm sandwich in it AND the general manager Greg came over to me to apologize for the mistake and said the veggie chicken parm was on the house. It's very rare for me that this happens. I wish I lived closer to Paragon so I can go back more often but believe me, I'll be back there for drinks and dinner next time I'm in the area. I highly recommend going there. Their service, food, and drinks will not disappoint.
