What a BEAUTIFUL park! Visiting the Blue Wahoo Stadium during a recent vacation was the one thing I told my family I HAD to do. I am so happy for sticking to that choice! This park was everything I was hoping for and MORE! We live near the Beloit Sky Carp Stadium which is also within the Marlins organization. That stadium is very new and also very cool but lacks in so many ways that The Wahoo Stadium Excels. The Stadium Seeing the Gulf of Mexico in the outfield while inside of a stadium is such a cool experience. It honestly is one of the best parks at any level that I have been to. They stadium seemed pretty large and it was practically sold out and yet i never felt crowded or overwhelmed. They have vendors everywhere so you aren't having to walk far at all when wanting food or drinks. Lastly, their prices really were very reasonable. Compared to parks in WI and IL, they did not break the bank which really surprised me. The Food They have the obvious normal foods that every park has but then they offered a ton of cool Florida themed seafoods, and other types of things I am not used to seeing where we live. They had tons of options for kids as well. The Entertainment I am a very traditional baseball fan and like to focus on the game alone, but I am not unrealistic when it comes to having young children who need a little more. The Wahoo's did such a good job in between innings to keep the kids engaged which was really fun to see. My Youngest usually wants to leave by the 5th and we were able to enjoy the entire game because she was engaged with things the whole time. This is a must visit attraction in Pensacola in my opinion. Best minor league baseball stadium I have ever been to! The parking was $5! The volunteers shuttled my family of 4 to the front entrance! We got into the stadium in less than 2 minutes! Great food and drink selection. We got bloody Mary's, seltzers, miller light, hot dogs, fries, peanuts, popcorn, water and Diet Coke! AMAZING seats behind home plate! My boyfriend got to be on camera for BEST SHADED SEATS IN THE HOUSE! It was a hot day, but our seats came with some natural shade! Love the touch of free sunscreen too! The game store was great! SO FUN! A must family activity or date night in Pensacola! My husband and I have been with our kids and alone for date night and it was just as fun both times!! Food is super cheap inside (and not super filling). I love the Pineapple Dole Whip and Hot dog! Best minor league stadium I've been to. It's super clean and has a gorgeous view out in center field. There were multiple different styles of food you could eat around the concourse. We sat on the berm for a bit which still had a great view of the game along with the sunset. They also had great fireworks after the game. We got there pretty close to the start of the game on a Saturday evening and they were sold out except for standing room so I'd recommend getting there early or buying tickets online. They had several different types/colors of roasted carrots and I loved them all. The creamy orzo pasta lived up to its name as did the fried green beans with the garlic mayo reduction! Coming from a larger city, I really wasn't expecting much. But this stadium was actually great! There was literally no wait to get in when we got there and walked right through. I came to game with some coworkers, we had great seats right behind home plate. Before we sat down, we hopped in line for food and drinks. They had lots of different food options, more than your typical "ball park" food. I ordered the shrimp tacos, a little messy but good! I also grabbed a pretzel, because I can't go to a game and not get a pretzel! It was delicious, as usual! My coworkers opted for the hot dogs, no judgement, they enjoyed them throughly. Not only do they have beer available, but also mixed drinks. Always a plus. Between the innings, they have a Roach Run for the kids to run across the field and chase a person dressed as a roach. It's hilarious! Each night they run different special, some nights have fireworks, others have giveaways for the first X amount of people to enter, etc. i will be coming back with my boyfriend for sure. read more

Seating in the group section was very uncomfortable. Bartender in the upper group/Winn Dixie section was very rude. He definitely had an attitude because he was not getting the tips he felt he deserved and he voiced this to almost everybody. No wonder people were not tipping him. Game was good, Pensacola won. Decided to catch a last minute Wahoos game here. Traffic can be a little crowded getting in and out of this stadium so get there early. Paid parking but there are alternative places to park in the neighborhood also. Games are pretty cheap. And there really isn't a bad seat in the house. They even sell standing room only tickets. However, concession prices are exactly what you'd expect...highly priced. Located right on the water, summer temps aren't too bad when there's a breeze. This stadium is ADA compliant and has elevators for those wanting to catch whatever activity is going on. read more

The food offerings were surprisingly diverse and everything looked really good. Typical minor league ball fun activities between innings and the roach run after the fifth was hilarious. The view into the harbor was incredible but The best part about a game at this gorgeous stadium is the people that work there and the fun people around us. Great new ballpark - maybe 5 years old - with a prime location right on the Pensacola bay. With a capacity just over 5,000 this stadium is half the size of our hometown Jumbo Shrimp but the intimate atmosphere makes for a fun time. After winning their first every championship last season (2017 over the Shrimp), the team seemed very weak which should be expected. More than a few errors tonight in their 9-5 loss to the Barons as I'm sure the team is still "gelling." I would imagine a lot of players are promoted or traded after a successful season which makes for a weaker team. The season is early so I'm sure things can still change and maybe the Jumbo Shrimp can avenge last year's loss in the championship series. read more

I absolutely love this stadium and all the amenities. It's a beautiful park set on the bay. The views are gorgeous and the breeze that comes off the bay is spectacular in the evening at game time. The park seats a little over 5,000 and there a couple of party decks you can go drink on. The concessions are terrific! They have more than just your average popcorn, coke, and hotdog stands. They have 4 restaurant type fronts that serve anything from ceviche tacos to fish and chips to the fried Elvis. They have specialty hamburgers and so much more. The activities in between innings are fantastic and Kazoo, the mascot, is super fun. The ballpark is clean, the staff is super friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you are having a great time. The seating is great. No matter where you sit,there's not a bad seat in the house. I'm a Jacksonville Suns fan, but I must say this stadium is pretty darn impressive and the team is not so bad hahaha. My mother and I rode out here to check out our team at an away game since it was the closest stadium to Jacksonville and 5 hours isn't too bad of a drive. I like how the stadium is facing the bay and you can get a good look at the Gulf and watch the boats come and go. 99.5 percent of the Wahoos fans were pretty nice to us and were actually surprised that we came all the way there. There were very few that were jerky. Sitting over the visiting dugout you don't get that much of a breeze but sitting over by the Party Deck feels like the A/C is on full blast. The promos/entertainment that they had in between the innings were never the same each day of the homestand so it made for an interesting time. The food? Oh man, it puts our stadium's food to shame with options like Beer Battered Fish tacos, Chicken wings, Shrimp n Grits, Gourmet burgers, Redneck eggrolls and Sushi. Yes, sushi that I did not get a chance to try. *Sad face*. The item I couldn't stop talking about was the Frozen Wine slushie and let me tell you, that was perfect for the summer. The tickets for a Saturday date night were only about $15 each. Coming from the California Bay Area (I know, don't judge), we were amazed by how much free parking was in proximity to the stadium. Not having to walk 5 miles to get free parking? DEAL! There were also the $5 and $10 lots which isn't bad at all. Concessions were EXPENSIVE (which you should always expect), but it was such a fun time! I have to add that the garlic fries had a good amount of lemon....which was amazing. The worker taking our food order was so friendly, there was constant great entertainment, and the fire workers were the cherry on top. The stadium absorbed the crowd well and people could move around pretty easily. I wouldve really loved if more security was implemented (like while checking tickets), but I still felt safe! Another thing is no one was actually sitting in their assigned seats, at least where we were. Lead to a whole lot of "hey, that's my spot" and constant shuffling around/people being upset with each other which was distracting. But that may just be the culture, hahaha. This stadium was awesome! If it wasn't so hot and muggy, it would have been perfect! I decided to stop by on my way up to Andalusia to catch a game. This stadium is brand new and it actually won awards last year for "Best stadium in baseball...that includes MLB too". I would have to agree...the stadium was nice. Small but nice! Ushers were friendly, food selection was decent, seats were dirt cheap and awesome, setting was lovely (right on the water), huge scoreboard etc. They have one of the coolest hats I have ever seen too! I purchased one and will wear it a lot. I only stayed for 3 innings since it was so damn hot and I had a long drive ahead of me. If I lived close, I would definitely come often. I parked for free (Sunday) on the street and it was a nice walk up to the stadium. Good times! read more

My family went to see the Wahoos for the first time tonight. Having been to a few other minor league baseball fields, I wasn't expecting too much. I was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The venue is absolutely beautiful. I don't think there is a bad seat in the entire place and the seats are cheap! I was impressed with the cleanliness and great customer service. When we first arrived in the parking lot, staff came by and offered those walking rides in their golf carts. The concessions offer more choices than your typical sports concession stand such as pork sliders and fried fish baskets. This would be a great place to take kids because they do an awesome job of engaging the audience throughout the entire game- including a squash the roach run and a musical chairs competition between kids and the mascot. Although the wahoos lost, we had a great time and the evening ended with a bang (literally) with an impressive fireworks show. read more

What a beautiful stadium right on the water front! Only a few years old. Went to a game there recently visiting the in laws and had an awesome time! I love baseball but I'm by no means a die-hard Wahoos fan. I felt right at home though and the Wahoo himself came over to take a pic of us! It's also located within walking to some of my favorite digs on Palafox, like the Tin Cow. Love the fact that they are very military-friendly. What a horrible experience. The concessions were horrible. Land shark venue beer was hot, dip in dots was out of most flavors by end of the 4th. We had tickets for a game on July 30, 2021. They allowed us to sit in the stadium for 2 hours before they decided that they would cancel the game. When they decided to cancel the game they made an announcement that the game was going to be the next day and we just needed to go to the ticket office and exchange our ticket for the game the next day. When we got to the ticket office they proceeded to tell us that the game for the next day was standing room only but they could change our tickets (which were first base line 3rd row behind the dugout) for standing room tickets. The man was very rude about the tickets and told us that they sell out every Saturday, which is not our fault. I will never return to this stadium. read more
