Sure enough, Jason came out today and was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. He completed the repair in no time and was very upfront and honest about the pricing. What made the experience even better was that I wasn't even able to be there in person however Jason still made the entire process seamless by keeping me updated throughout the whole process with messages, photos, and phone calls the whole time. We were basically able to handle the entire project virtually, and by the time I finally got home, everything was already completed perfectly. Other contractors were quoting ridiculous prices for such a small repair area, but Jason never once tried to upsell or take advantage of the situation. I read in consumer reports that the expensive gutter guards to fail in heavy rains and the less expensive ones do not. The owner confirmed the consumer report info, and was very straight forward with the product and price to install the gutters. They came out about two weeks later and I couldn't be happier. They did a thorough job at a fair price, and made the few tweaks I asked for perfectly. The owner was on-site the entire time. They were able to remove and replace my gutters, and install the guards in one day. Bonus, the owners family stopped by at lunch, we got to see them all parade up to Dad.

While the work was somewhat adequate, and we can certainly be ok with what we have, I sure learned a lot about this company and more importantly the owner. We have been finding lots of little things that weren't done right. When they painted the walls, they got spots all over the ceiling. He laid the carpet in our theater wrong, so now along one wall there is a strip with the grain running the wrong direction. He totally jacked up our bathroom door. Instead of hanging it right, he had it way too tight and then cut the door down to compensate, then cut too much off. Now that looks like shit. Found out all of his hired help are ex-cons, and a couple of them are in jail right now. If I had known, they certainly wouldn't have been in our home, but most of all the undependability of this bunch. Leaving early every day at 2 or 3pm. Skipping out on Fridays, just generally not showing up when they were supposed to be here. He told us this job would take 2 - 3 weeks tops. It took over 2 months to complete. Most recently however when I need to get a pad poured for the new hot tub that's coming, I got blown off 4 times in a week long period, then when I question that he went off the deep end.
