Great customer service! Pricing is fair and they are always taking care of your vehicle.

STORAGE RENTERS BEWHERE!!!! 07/08/21 I rented a climate…read morecontrolled 10x15 storage room at $100.00 a month for a couple of months, so I could remodel my home to put it on the market. When I rented the storage I had to give him my ID and debit card and wait outside until he came out with my cards and the contract for me to sign. He gave me my page of the contract with a receipt stapled to it and went back in. His wife had me follow her golf cart to my storage, gave me the gate and door code and left. I moved all my things in and that August I had to have 3 consecutive surgeries. That October I receive an email stating the rent was going up $25.00 the 1st of November. I called but they said they had to because the cost of electric went up. Still recovering, being alone, disabled and not having anyone for help, I was not able to move anything so I had to pay the extra. I had to have another surgery in February so In April 2022 I went to the storage to check on things. I was shocked! There was rat droppings, chewed boxes everywhere, even my brand new box spring and mattress was torn up! I went to the managers office on the property to notify him on the rats. He insisted that he told me about the rat problem when I rented the storage. I informed him that if I was aware of a rat problem I would not have rented it to start with and asked them to exterminate them. He said that the owners would not pay for it and to pick up some rat killer and do my room myself, so I did. I called the main office in Jasper and they do not exterminate because it is to costly and that the contract stated they were not responsible for any damages, but they did apologize for the problems I was having. I came home and started my remodel as fast as I could. I heard that the storage had a break in in June and I had never had the number to the manager staying on the property ( and every time I came by he was not there), so I called the main office to make sure mine was not broken in to. They did not know as their cameras do not work and is none for the climate control area. So I went over there again to check on things again. Thankfully mine was not broke in to. But yet another two shocks! The rats had ripped the insulation down in the ceiling in a couple areas. It was warm in there and you could see daylight coming in. So I called the main office and told them what i had found and no telling how long it was that way. I was also told that I no longer had a storage there and I had moved out! I informed them that my stuff and locks were still there and that someone had made a mistake. They had not direct debited the previous month and a half, so I was charged for a half of month. Yet the ceiling still had not been fixed, He said he had submitted a work order for it to be done. I never heard a word about the repairs and I only had the keys for the doors. So I finally finished my remodel in late August and contacted the main office again about the repairs and to remind them I rented the climate control because I had irreplaceable photos, records, DVD's, electronics, etc. They again apologized and gave me October free. He also said he put in another work order and notified the owner. I told him the I would be there the following day to remove my photos and pray they were not ruined. And to call me in advance when they were coming to do the repairs because I lived almost an hour away from the storage. The next day I was there for almost 4 hours loading my pick up. The lot manager came over and accused me of moving out furniture in front of the building and sweeping out rat droppings in to the hall the week before because it was a red truck and so was mine. I told him I was not there and showed him my floor full of dropping and box shrapnel and asked him if it looked like it had been swept. I also showed him the holes in the ceiling, daylight, and damage. I closed up and came home and unloaded. An hour later I received a call from the main office saying that the repair person was there and to come back and let them in. I had taken some pain medication and told them I could not drive under it but would come back the next day to open it up. To date I have heard nothing more from them and have been moving my stuff out as fast as I can. GOD willing It will be empty this weekend. What a horrible storage facility, lot manager, and terrible business practice. And worse, I believe they have 7 locations with only one older man to run them all in every aspect from the main office.
