I often get my car washed at BlueWave when I'm on the West side of McAllen. I go for the basic wash which is $6. If you like to get car washes regularly, they offer monthly membership based on the type of car wash you want. So for example, the basic wash monthly membership is $14. When you do the math, it only makes sense if you plan to wash your car 3 or more times per month. After your wash is finished, you can pull into their parking area and enjoy free vacuums. There are roughly 20 stalls available with plenty of space. Additionally, you can purchase a "towel coin" which redeems a fresh towel every time you visit. The staff are pretty helpful if you need assistance selecting the right wash for your car. They're also available to help while you're parked in the vacuuming area. Tip 1: Practice "street smarts" while you're in the vacuuming area. People have had personal items stolen from their trunk while vacuuming. A bit of an obvious tip, but does hurt to mention it. Tip 2: There's a huge crack in the concrete right as you're exiting the car wash onto Nolana. It's been there for several months. Not sure when they plan to fix it. Important meeting first thing in the morning. Came outside and my car was covered with bird poop! I had to pick up an associate and head to my meeting but I needed my car presentable so I drove to Bluewave. It was busy, of course I was in a hurry. Went through the car wash and it barely cleaned off half the mess. I got back in line and when I got to the employee I explained my car hadn't gotten clean and I needed to go through again, I have done this before at other car wash businesses. He said I would have to pay again. I said why? My car didn't get clean. Why would you make me pay again? Another employee who's shirt read customer service manager, or something to that effect just stood there looking at me saying nothing. I couldn't leave because cars were behind me and I needed my car clean. I paid again and pulled up to go through car wash a second time. I looked over at the 2 employees and they were looking at each other smiling and they fist bumped. This place is not only a poor car wash but the employees are not nice people. read more

Awful customer service. When calling the 877 number, you have to be on hold for 45 minutes for the ONE rep that is working from home to answer. And then she is rude. Have a fleet of vehicles and when we first added vehicles to accounts had an unknown plate added "by accident" . read more

Is there such a thing as "too clean?" Yes, if the car wash cleans away your car logo/decal. I generally use the Edinburg location but this one seemed a little more convenient and I said: why not? Lemme try. Boy, was I wrong? Their cleaning broke the logo/decal in front on the hood. Making things worse, the "manager" was not interested in finding it at all. He promised he'd call but apparently "forgot". They lost my business forever. read more

Not even a star they deserve, they pop open my bumper and lame it on me , apparently it came like that when I LITERALLY HEARD IT "POP"in the middle on the damn tunnel, (was loud that I thought my window was smashed) when I check the bumper flap was covering the truck door, I tried to fix it (which I did that's not showing on the picture) but I couldn't fix it all so that's when I decided to call one on the employee and told me to do a report, and to call for a call the one that called me to fix the issue told me that "it shows on the video but we are not responsible because it came like that and that we are not responsible for anything that happens outside" ok like not even a month ago I brought the car and everything was check, horrible place do not recommend!!! read more

I went to this car wash and addled what their options were. He didn't answer the question, just ran the credit card. He ran the basic wash and I asked him again the options. It turns out that had tire protectant, which is what I wanted. But, since they had already run the card, they couldn't give me the tire protectant or was or anything else, like wax. But, I had already paid for the basic, so I was stuck. What a waste. I need to go find another car wash to get my tires done and they lost a few dollars in sales. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I have never herd of a car wash that is such a chicken shit when it comes toward mud on a vehicle. They have nothing but rude employees and managers that can barley speak English. As I was telling the manager why I was canceling my account he shut the window in my face. Great service! The manager noticed that the first time my car went through the wash there was still some remains of bird droppings. He was nice and offered for me to go through the wash one more time for free. Reasonably priced drive through wash. $6 for the most basic. When done washing your car you can use the free vacuums. read more

Took my car for a wash today, it came out all spotty with white spots, it didn't add the wax, and when I went back, the manager was extremely rude. I'll have to try another location. A simple sorry that happened and offer a resolution would have been nice. read more

If I could give -5 i would. My husband used the carwash 3 time. Each time our car came out looking dirtier than it did going in. We also noticed more and more scratches appearing on the car after each wash. The final straw was when a huge scratch appeared on the top of the car, as if someone took a wire brush and ran is across the top of the car. We went back to report the damage and the assistant manager was rude basically calling us liars. Saying that since it's a "older car" (2017) they don't believe that their carwash scratched it. We just bought the car not even a month ago. Yes, we bought it used, but my husband did a thorough examination of the car before signing for it. It did not have those scratches before having the car washed here. Oh, and another reason they don't believe that the damage happened there was because their machine only leaves a "specific type a scratch". Not the one we were reporting. He openly admitted that their carwash damages at least 5 cars a week. But we were lying about ours. After being called liars and the assistant manager threatening to call the cops on us for insisting to speak with his hire up, he finally called the general manager who said that he would show up in 30 minutes to look at the car and review the surveillance video. We waited almost an hour for just to find out that the GM was refusing to go because his supervisor said that "he didn't have to". The assistant manager then came back and told us that he wasn't going to waste any more time on us. Their entire staff is rude, and unprofessional. As we were backing up to leave one of the female workers walked directly behind our car taking her sweet time to move. We came with in inches if hitting her and She just stared at us as if in daring us to hit her. read more
